I mean in general. I’m a fire mage, my tactic is to queue Epic BGs because they give the most honor almost always, and I’m alliance so I don’t wait that long for them. Now my question is, what should I do there to get the most of honor out of one match. Take vehicles? Run and capture? Dps what I can? Or am I wrong overall is there any faster way of getting honor than Epic BGs? I’m trying to reach honor level 500 (I KNOW, it will take me at least three months of every day pvp hard farm if not more), but still I am uncertain about the most efficent way. Or if not the best way, just any good ideas please. I’d appreciate help with that, regards.
Honor gained from kills is not that high, i think its 2 per hk. The majority comes from wins, both bgs and arenas.
And it’s going to take you way longer than 3 months. I’d say 6-9 months at least of hardcore playing.
Ehm, I’ve seen a real 500 honor lvl guy that went from 0 to 500 in 3 month by playing 70 hours a week each week for these 3 months so I’d beg to differ but ye
Took me a year from honor level 130 to honor level 500.
My tactics was first win of the day on 10 chars (all were decently geared). But I had mostly played 10-15 player bgs. Average time played per day was at least 3 hours but you can be a lot faster in reaching honor lvl 500 if you play more.
Just stay with group where they fight… you get extra honor from kills

Honor killing doesnt give honor lol.
You get it from battleground , arena , epic bg , rated bg wins and World pvp quests.
I started bfa with 25 honor levels , 1 year later I have been 330 honor level , 1 more year I’m 739 honor levels now.
You get 1 honor per kill, Sometime 2 honor
im 738 honor lvl
dont show off with ur honor lvl

Mate I win bgs in like 3 minutes per bg which is 300 honor minimum.
Arathi 1500-23 win
Gilneas 2 times 1500-0 win
Twin peaks 3-0 in 3-4 minutes few times (yesterday results)
Its easy to 5v10 bg with 5 people premade against randoms. You dont want to spend game with honor killing. They are not worth it.

you get 1 or 2 honor per kill in epic bg, so thats why i said stay with group while they fight and kill players.
Always you come to forums and show off with your premade group
Get some balls and queue epic bg and solo queue then show off with your statistics

Epic bg requires no skill. And I didnt notice she was talking about epic bg. Its easier to farm honor levels on random bg.
You can tell your random pugs what to do on 10v10. But if you are losing , you need to look into your 5 players premade group. especially if its 10v10. Because its easy to 5v10 on random bg against randoms.
Most honor farm communities on alliance and horde farm honor levels with this method.
I queue solo at nights too when nobody online. gettig half honor level with solo queue too.

Eh… I just dont know what routine should I choose. I dont actually care if its one or two years. I just wanna have it progressively done. I want honor level 500, in lets say max two years. What to do to get it for sure until then. When you were farming what was your routine?
I would go very fast wins , 3-4 min random bg wins and requeue like me.
I never camp horde randoms in spawn. I cap all flags or all bases and finish bgs very quick if I can.
Honor killing give 1 honor per kill.
Bg wins give 300 honor minimum.
Win as fast as you can. And requeue. They are not worth farming.
Nice, I’ll try that method. But you know it would be best to have a routine with some pvp and diversity. I’d have time to pvp daily and time to do quests achievements exc, have some spare time too. Also one important fact is that I wanna farm honor on A MAGE. Rather decent Ilvl 459, but it’s not the worst either. I can’t just rush a flag, I don’t think mages are the best for that are they.
Alliance give more honor.
I have a mythic raider friend with 482 ilvl. He had 440 ilvl druid on alliance last patch to get 500 honor levels. He is playing his horde main again now as he got 500 honor levels with his horde druid.
What is the conclusion? About your friend. I dont understand if its better to be alliance, or that the ilvl doesnt matter so much?
He plays horde for arena , he said lfg tool is too alive to push gladiator comparing alliance one. But he is mythic raider too.

Not anymore mercenary doesnt give more honor to horde players. its been removed.
