hey guys hope it’s going well, i was wondering what is the best/fastest way to gear my alt for upcomming season? I have nothing, just levelled to 80 and im a little lost on how to start gearing.
I wouldn’t put too much energy in it since every thing will reward like 40 ilvl more when the next season hits. Obviously you can do some easy fast stuff to get around 600 ilvl or so. But i wouldn’t bother too much.

Siren’s Isle is where the catch up gear is, will be more than adequate to start you off in the next gearing cycle.

Guess I’ll have to take my healthyr to Siren Isle and prepare…
Isn’t that veteran gear? I never saw it as a catch up resource since even relatively low delves are rewarding way better. I have even some ilvl 600 items in my warbank.
If you just want to prepare a brand new character for the next season it’s fine, if you want to gear further then there are always options.

EZ - go Timewalking raids - they are super fast and grant champion gear + hc gearx2 (5 boss quest + final boss quest)
take 4 free 619 crests from renown vendors and craft the lowest ilvl slot stuff, and possibly the cheaper to make.
buy missing champion gear for crystals from vendors.
lastly, do some delves???
bonus option - if you are a gold farmer or token enjoyer - buy some hc boes - they go pretty cheap these days on bigger servers.

there is no point gearing naything because whole gear will be reset when patch lands.
by doing hc dungons you will have the same itlv as people who raided mythic this season .
only thing qorth getting is max level ring.
What ilvl is heroic dropping next season?
(i am only able to find the +2-12 loottable)

But it does not say what heroic is dropping 
I got this character from 570ish to 600 using Siren Isle, and then I did a couple of keys to get it to 615, Siren Isle remains viable, especially as it’ll probably get you ready for the s2 campaign quest rewards.

You are saying we need to do siren isle on every char?
Honestly, yes, it’s quick (you can do all major questlines in about an hour), you can get the ring to max level just farming the various events (provided your main has already done the weekly quests that unlock the ring upgrades).
If you don’t like instances, Siren Isle is a reasonably quick ticket to s2

I am more like, not interested in running Siren isle on 8 chars. When it is a requirement for getting to the new area, that would be very crap.
Another option is to just do delves and keys to reach any level up to 639, however as I understand it the ring is potent until at least mid s2, so for that reason alone Siren Isle is interesting.
Ah. When it is about ilvl, then it is not a requirement 
I thought i was not allowed to go to new season areas without doing Siren isle. My warbank has better ilvl anyway.
No it’s not required, however it’s not a bad idea all the same.
I’ve geared up 13 level 80s on Siren Isle, all to around 595 cos I’m too lazy to bother any more than that, it honestly doesn’t feel a grind as it’s pretty quick and easy
