Best way to make gold in BFA 2019

I have been looking around and have seen many posts from last year about farming for gold in BFA, most of them talked about mining and herbalism in Kul Tiras, I followed a anchor weed farm route in Drustvar for about 2 hours using stirups and glove enchantments, however I only managed to get enough ores and herbs worth around 2k, where as most posts said they easily made 10 times that. I assume that herb and ore prices have dropped massively since those posts were made, what should I do to farm gold now?

1. get some max level alts.
2. pick everything up and sell to vendors including green stuff (ah is not worth time spent getting there and then getting back).
3. Try to turn out as many quests as possible in as quick a time as possible. (time wasted running around is time wasted not gaining gold)
4. There is a mod you can use to get you to 120 rapidly.
5. When you ding 120, get onto another alt and do the same, some times when i get bored i just alt jump and do some levels and then onto another alt.
6. Make sure you do prepare for war scenario’s. Worth a lot of gold and azerite gear, making a lot of stuff trivial. trivial = more time gaining gold.
7. make sure to do the table quests with your followers, its free gold all the time (might not be much to start with, but nevertheless its still free gold.)

When you have a number of alts all doing the same thing, you will end up with hundreds of thousands of gold if not a million…and if you know how to invest on the ah, you will end up with millions.

Or you could just buy some tokens just to get you started, just make sure when you buy them , you are getting as much gold as possible on purchase.

What are you farming gold for?

If it’s just for a quick infusion for the basics as you approach 120, old raids can get you up to 40K in a couple of rather tedious play sessions.

If it’s for a modest regular income to cover repairs and stuff, Herbs and Fish and Cooking are still somewhet worthwhile, and will spike dramatically at the start of 8.2. The game is very quiet now, so demand is down, but 8.2 should revive it for a few weeks.
