I fully agree, if people want to pay multiple subs, or shuffle tokens, let them, the fact that almost all abuse the market and control the prices , and in extend ruin the economy is. I agree that people reporting multiboxers for bots should be banned. I personally would love to see multiboxing removed but never reported any unless obvious bots.

The WoW account limit is 8 per bnet account, i would keep the limit thereâŚbut as we know, many multiboxers use 16, 32 nowadaysâŚthe world record is somewhere around 100.
I wouldnât let the same person use multiple bnet accounts at once but again, many people have two bnet accounts to play with friends on both regions, etc⌠so itâs hard to say what is the best solution.
My point was that i hope people realise that not every multiboxer is this doom bringer, herb gathering monster.

Iâm merely stating the 2 fastest ways to make gold.
Multiboxing is one of them , thatâs a fact , that is all i was implying.

Fair enough, we took discussion down the different road, I apologise. As you stated, multiboxing is one of the ways, perhaps the best, of making gold, economy and everything aside. Legacy runs are still viable, i manage to squeeze 4-5k per hour still, as of professions, it will depend a lot on the server and supply/demand, currently at the end of expansion itâs not very profitable. Weâll see how stuff is on Shadowlands.
With paragon farming on several characters (and occasional gold emissary) i get around 12-16k gold/h depending how many gold wqâs there are given day. For old raids used to get around 8k/h, after prepatch its probably like Khorrun said. There might be some profitable pets from pet dungeons or other places, but other than that, best to just wait for Shadowlands.
Also a tip, if you have lot of pearls from nazjatar or titan residuum for azerite gear, spend it all on item tokens and sell them to vendor, got maybe 100k from just those. Just use a macro, so it doesnt take eternity to buy and open all of them.

Ahh, great were the times when gathering and trade skills were the go- to moneymakers! Alas, for someone like myself, those are no longer relevant, since: Credit Card + WoW-Token= Win! It is nice to see that many here still encourage/prefer actually playing the gameâŚand truly earn their riches, though!

Most of people hope those days will come around. Not all of us should be millionaires, but no one should have to farm 10+ hours a week to be able to buy single BoE, prepare his weekly progress consumables, etc, etc, but I digress again.
How do multiboxers destroy gathering? Surely they cannot camp every spawn?
Atm getting paragon chests the best way.
In EARLY SL, raw mats prob will be the best choice. Many raiders gonna need stuff and willing to pay insane gold. Multiboxers need much time before they lvl up their 500 characters, so for a few weeks its a good income.
After the multiboxers + bot druid carvans took over the herbs / ores, you either can do the following:
- Switch skinning, mboxers + bots cant skin 1 mob multiple times, so its a good and solid income (i gonna do that).
- Do WQ-s for repu, to get paragon chest golds (not sure if there any, need further conformation).
- make a healer/tank spec character and look for call to arms bag in random hc or lfr => each bag contain 900 gold + 1-5 runes (each rune cost around 500-600 gold in early xpacs, top raider guilds need this, i also gonna do this)
- if you can, become a booster, and boost people

Well, herbs have tag limit, if you reach it, it instantly disappears. So multiboxers go with exact amount and instantly delete herbs, they go in circles, so by the time it respawns they are back and delete it again. As normal player its quite hard to find a herb. Now imagine with 2 or 3 multiboxers in one zone, i think you know where this is going =P.
If they are bad geared, can kill them solo, but if well geared, it gets harder.

Shimmerscale Striker vendoring + junk + AH sale of some mats can still net you around 13k per 1h.

If youâve got a bunch of alts, spending a few minutes doing the Emissaries, and the gold WQs with WM ON, can easily net you a dozen gold every few days⌠each, with the double rep buff we got atm making for quick Rep supply caches.

Also, having a bunch of alts and doing gold missions on the table also nets you some money. Itâs usually a bit over 100g (+ another if you get the bonus), but with a legion of alts, thatâs still a noticable amount. I usually make 1k gold a day just by spending ~5 minutes logging into each max level alt and sending them on a gold mission. (Or rune or gear mission, if thereâs no gold one). On top of emissaries and gold WQs, thatâs a small, steady flow of gold.
Also, what I donât think anyone mentioned: leveling a new alt nets you quite a bit of gold too! You get a fair amount of gold during leveling, and a lot of greens you can either sell on the AH (I had random BoEs go for 4-10k), or disenchant them on your bank alt, and sell the dusts. I made about 70k gold on the 2.7 (2x50 + 1 @ 45) chars I leveled in pre-patch so far. And thatâs that many more chars to do mission tables and gold emissaries with, too.
Having a legion of alts is quite useful.
