Hello! This is a wide question but what is your preferred way to make gold in wow. I have thought a lot about it but never came to the point. Is it selling mounts, flasks, bags or mats to mounts or something else. I know is also depends on what you think is the most enjoyable. But yeah
Try to find what’s most fun to you, but given they nerfed raw gold farms from legacy content I’m myself curious how economy is going to develop. Fighting multiboxers for materials seems like certainty for SL and I’m pretty upset about it. I personally found raw gold farm to be more enjoyable, flying around for hours to barely find any nodes when zones are swarming with multiboxers, while, they also camp popular skinning locations, just too frustrating for me. What will be my main source of gold moving into shadowlands, I have no clue.
Get a job and buy tokens with irl cash.
Or
Buy 7 more accounts , use the free boost and make druids and then go farm every mats there is.
I hate method 2 but i follow 3 people on twitch who multibox. The amount of gold they make per week is just insane. Most i ever saw was 8 million gold in 1 week farming. Somehow … Blizz thinks that’s fair.
Currently paragon chests with gold wq’s and reputation missions are really nice, but after reputation bonus ends nothing else will be worthwhile until SL. Herbs are worthless and destroyed by multiboxers, raw gold from old raids nerfed and playing AH is nothing interesting. New materials in SL will be best bet for gold, until multiboxers destroy economy quickly again.
Gathering is the safest bet to build capital first.
Right now prices are low, we are at the end of the expansion.
New ores, herbs in Shadowlands will have a higher price and demand at start.
Then once you have enough capital, you can get into other professions such as Alchemy for example. Make flasks, potions, learn markets, watch when prices are higher. Check when guilds raid on your realms. Sell them on those days. The list goes on but learning markets is key unless you want to mindlessly farm for hours and hours.
AH trading if you’re really good at it.
And boosting people.
these 2 are the best gold farming methods.
as for other ways, you need to wait for shadowlands, because no one cares about any of them right now.
Unless u are a chad multiboxer like me who just farms raw gold instead of dealing with AH waiting for their gold, ruining markets for others.
#stop generalizing multiboxers 2020
As long as you dont impact others by ruining AH, stealing herbs or preventing to do quests, thats fine.
There are other ways they ruin economy even if they don’t flood the AH with mats, but that’d been discussed so many times, I won’t even bother explaining.
Lately i am in Drustvar, at the pigs. People always come and go for the WQ to cleanse the village and i setup a macro with “/s If you need kills for the WQs, just say and i will stop, let you tag and i will help u kill mobs”
The last 2 days atleast 7 ppl thanked me for helping them.
Sometimes i just run raids for mounts, transmogs to use on my main.
Personally i would change gathering itself, you can’t simply Thanos snap an entire community because of some as***oles ruining markets with 100k herbs / day.
If you mean inflation, there are people who don’t multibox and have over a billion gold.
Lol, you are quite opposite of multiboxers who tell others they will report them if they stay near their farming areas, i usually troll these by putting bunch of target dummies.
But its true, those people dont give the best view for multiboxers…
For gathering not sure what solution there could be, maybe limit how quickly it can be looted, for example, every 3 sec. What multiboxer will stand there with 10 druids herbing same bush for 30 seconds on each char.
Don’t spend it all on flight paths and transmogs like me :’)
I never understood that mentality. Abusing the report system can lead to a very fast ban by Blizzard, on both sides. I’ve seen people getting banned for abusing it by reporting multiboxers as bots and i’ve seen multiboxers getting banned for mass reporting one single guy.
Personally i never care if someone stands on me while im farming, i just say good luck outfarming 8 druids with sunfire, starfall spam, most people give up.
Gathering, not sure either. I think that would be great idea, to set a timer on it or make each node personal…idk if that would work tho.
I prefer to ask my mom for her credit card.
Work is boring.
True, yet how many of those people causing the inflation are “normal” players compared to the multiboxers? The fact that there are “millionaires” who don’t multibox is not the problem, I believe.
I did pandaria lfr for tnmog and got as much as wod lfr idk ;P…(terrace of springs)
But at that point it becomes a completly personal thing if the person should be banned or not.
Most people just say “ban multiboxers”…why? Let’s say someone only pays their monthly sub with the gold they farm and the rest of the time they just farm transmogs, mounts…should that person get banned? i don’t think so.
This is why multiboxing will be never banned, there are too many ways to use it.
I would ban people who abuse markets tho.
Gathering could be solved by having nodes be character specific, so all the multiboxers characters have different spawns, how possible that is to develop, is beyond my knowledge. Also since blizz allows it, they will hardly ever tackle problems of multiboxing, but one can hope.
Firstly i think should limit accounts you can have to 3-4. Secondly, if you use them to farm gold for sub or mogs, mount thats fine, though it does inflate token price for non-multiboxers which i dont really like. Those that spam AH with mats can be banned instantly though.
That is actually very good solution, atleast for herbing.
