I have seen a lot of topics like this around here, and recently received a beta key, been trying up the new expansion and one thing that I know that people will complain about a lot is the fact that the NPC dracthyr has a regular fly and us dracthyrs players have not, this is a bit strange and mood killer, to be honest, I hope they can fix this situation that is so easy to set because we all saw the animations in a youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j56OAUey3Q, here it is the link for the ones who didn’t watch how nice it looks, well before 15 of November please fix

Actually flying of all kind break the game, no one should be able to fly at all

Monks fly, DH fly, druids fly, why not dracthyrs flying to?

Actually DH cannot fly just glide :roll_eyes:

As I said before:

Just give them 2 fly racials:

  • One for Dragon Flight
  • One for regular Flying

Let people chose what they want. I would choose the later one.

Every single person has told blizzard this. It’s the most requested feature of the entire beta.

But, you know, egos don’t change. Despite their new company line about “listening to feedback”, they haven’t changed. They didn’t want to change soar, they aren’t communicating on class feedback, and they aren’t communicating on dungeon feedback.

And at this point, it is pure ego. They don’t feel like they have to change. They don’t feel like they have to communicate. They don’t feel like they need to make the customer happy.

I have used soar only 3 times in the old world, so no making it dragon riding does not help at all. Making Soar into dragon-riding is a nerf equal to removing the ability altogether. Flight form simply adds nothing to the class for me, and only visually restricts a class that is already visually limited. I don’t have the fantasy of my dragon flying everywhere like a bird.

But I’m all for adding an Evoker skin for dragon riding so those who wish to can be a bird dragon.

First of all self mounts should be implemented as we have already a vial of sand and a big mind and I think that is great!

actually sprinting or mounting ruin the game you should only be able to walk everywhere … for that 100 % stupidty

To be honest when first announced the Dracythr, I really thought as a racial they would have some sort of self flying ability at the regular flying speed as everyone else.

It really did seem fitting, I am disappointed, they truely missed the mark, cast the ability has a cast time like mounting for balance :man_shrugging:t4:.

Personally I would of rather normal flight then soar (Dragonriding flying).

Honestly it just seems fitting, even if they get a cast time for balancing sake, and fly at the speed as everyone else I thought it made sense then a 4 min Dragonflying and then having to re mount for the rest of the CD…

It would of seemed more thematic to what being a Dracythr is.

It could be in old zones of Azeroth you fly normally and in DragonFlight it works the same as Dragonriding like everyone else, but that’s just my opinion :man_shrugging:t4:.

Yea because this is only one, literaly only one 1 by number) case where players can do and wear everything NPC can .

They should totaly fix that rn , because as i already said, this is the very only case

Flying mounts spoilt the game’s immersion so much & world feel.

Now there is no barrier to reaching a location that should be a challenge to reach.

Wish all ‘flight paths’ were changed to ‘ground horse paths’ and flying removed

Then players could actually engage at ground level again

Dragonriding is awesome obviously, but it has too much energy imo
After a few hours you basically have infinite flying again

  1. Dragons should feel much heavier and skyward ascent should be nerfed
  2. Dragonriding glyphs should be much harder to obtain
