Better solution than this one button feature

Ok so we saw podcast and reveal of brand new feature.

Why this feature pop out in the first place? Well because as it turns out wow is too complex and reequires too many buttons. Solution? One button feature. But it is not a good solution for many reasons that deserve entire section.
Proper solution? Cut the buttons required to press/push in order to play the game.
How?

Well if we still wanna keep complexity, and have a few less button to push we should consider Death Knight engrave feature and revisit it!
How it could work?

Based on Blood DK:

  1. Blood boil could be engraved into chest piece. It could work that it blows automatically at the middle of Death and Decay timer and at very end. Both skills are pretty manadtory to cast, so we could cut out that one button
  2. Corpse explosion - it could be casted autmatically every 15 second on nearbay corpse - again it is engraved, but let’s say in the neck piece.
  3. Rune Dance Weapon could be passive effect that will be casted every 3 harmful spells with duration as is and CD before next cast as is.
  4. Reaper Mark could be added to ring peice and be cast autamitcally after we cast Death Strike - again with every effect as is.

You get the jazz - of course engraved is not enchant in that case so you can enchant andd engrave your equipment as required.

That being said - in furture we could even go into customization and have ability to explore options with conunterdict spells engraved i.e. bonestorm vs any other skill that could be fitted there.

Why not one button instead and it is bad idea?

Old player will leave the game at some point and new will come - this is how word is working. Not a rocket science here.
Now, every new player that will grow with tihs one button feautre will be demanding that we have this ability in everything - so it means pvp, mythic and riads. Problem is, that if we follow this rotue we are opening new gate for entire new problems aka beasts like balance (imagine pvp with one button - is this really what we want? Standing there or jumping like madman around each other just to press rotation looking like 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1?)

Also there will be demand for Tanks and Healers for one button and entire system being focused around this. For starters we have only one variable - preset talent. Imagine that in future all talents will be acounted for.
Why?
Cos it will be a demnad. To get higher numbers based on 1 button.
This of course inculde any other future classes that maybe added to the game.

This is same situation, where people born in pre-internet era vs people born in internet era - older people can survive on any internet or without it while it is unnatural for people born in 2000+ that there is no fast internet access.

And my answer is NO. Blatantly NO.

And “systems focused arround this?” Absolutely not.

That is why I gave idea for engrave system. That is why I’m against one-button-solution.

Don’t get me wrong - when DPS will get one-button mechanics, healers and tanks will ask for the same.

I suggested simply to reduce the buttons on your bar to the 4 core ones.

Which I think is better.

But either way. Organized content is not for “casuals” that want to RP in the Open world. ANY system of this sort should be disabled in group content.

For the respect of the other 4 players.

So you would not need a 1-button macro for healers and tanks.

I hear you but dollars against nuts, that in time we will get this into pvp, raids, dungeons and for healers and tanks because of “being excluded from game activities and part of the game” reasons.

If you think this will happen, then they should not implement this tool. Period. They should not have even announced it to be honest.
