Looking for Mounts, Toys, doing Dailies, etc…even back in TBC I tended to farm mats, while doing other things.
Imho, you need flying to make farming circuits properly efficient, so until TBC lvl70 I pretty much ignored it… the only Xpac where I remember doing a lot of specific farming circuits, was WotLK.
One reversion I would introduce, is going back to single tap herbs and minerals… that should make life more difficult for bots.
I agree no more sharable stuff, except for mob loot, but skinning shouldn’t be shared, kills immersion too for RPer like me. but that’s just too little of a world content that i wrote over the past 3 days when i started thinking of it, I even took some ideas from other peoples ideas that they shared in my posts, rather then hating me… where are all those guys or girls that hated me instead of trying to help suggest things? how nice of them, fakers.
That’s it, this person just went to ignore list.
Several people told him EXACTLY why they disagree with him and then he says “people argue with me for the sake of arguing”.
How blind can you be, wow. And then he has the gall to keep insisting on his subjective opinion being a fact.
Enough is enough though.
staffmember reopened 4 of my posts that you guys ruined and flagged, how nice of you, shhhh please, faker.
Screams Vanilla was the best!
Didn’t actually play it!
Calls other posters fakers!
Priceless
you are saying your argument that was - ohh then you force players to grind in order to play competitive content - you mean like they have to do now with farming gold, does that mean they should completely abandon that kind of RPG gameplay? LOL!!!
Why not? I don’t care if someone skins my kills after I loot them…shows they are working smarter, not harder.
if I were a dev I would ignore all of you that don’t want RPG elements, deal with it, it is a mmorpg game after all, and I tried vanilla and played for 2 years - classic vanilla, and I had more fun then in legion, BFA or shadowlands, in fact more fun then wod too, even more then whole retail experience since i joined in cata…
- You’re not a WoW game dev
- You deal with it. Right now it’s working in a way you dislike so you’re the one who has to “deal with it”.
More salt!
Thank the lord you aren’t a developer then, as your ideas will kill the game!
Is this despite you yourself posting you didn’t? OK buddy
Ps Classic is NOT Vanilla, but there again you should know that.,
First time I’ve ever seen a poster disagree with themselves in the same post.
/golfclap.
you guys are really something something
Correct you mean, then yes, guess we are!
Dev’s tend to follow the money…How many of the other existing licences offer a cash shop to completely avoid the endless mats grind, that you value so highly (like BDO)… or, are either closed down/on life support/have a small player base.
it could be materials needed to craft high ilvl crafts for open world purposes only…
Wildstar says hi, or it would if it hadn’t closed. Advertised as a return to Vanilla WoW, died a long and lonely painfull death.
Your biggest problem is bots…only a tiny percentile of players are going to engage directly with your suggested profession mats grind, if they can just buy the mats cheap off the AH and power level the Profession, that way instead.
So, the mats would all need to be BoP, with all the bag space issues that entails.
Can’t wait to have 3 out of 4 bags full with hunter ammo for a raid! Was so exciting and immersive! As in, after playing this clusterfrak of stupidity, I then immersed myself in literally everything else life has to offer outside of WoW.
