Hi guys, so I’m trying to get The Fourth War achievement but I haven’t got the last part Old Soldier. I have travelled to several places to pick up this quest starting at the boat in Boralus. Is there a way you can determine at which point you can continue this chain quest?

There is no way in-game to check this, but some playing around with the wowhead profiler and backtracking quests from the chain usually does the trick (more on that below).
I took a look at this for you and it seems like your next quest on the war campaign is “Payment in Kind” in Nazjatar. Hopefully wowhead shows this correctly, but shoutout if that quest isn’t showing for you. I’m sure we can figure this out somehow.
Just leaving the following here for reference; If you want to check stuff like this yourself in the future, here’s how you can do that:
- Go to the wowhead profiler and search for your own character by region, realm and name.
- Go to the “Quests” section (this will take a while to load, just as a heads up)
- In the top right corner of the quest window you have a button to filter quests, I usually go with quest titles as that is the easiest.
- Find whatever overview/guide you can find (for your case I used the “Alliance War Campaign Guide”) and look through the quests there to see which you have completed and where you left off.
This method isn’t 100% reliable, but is the closest we have to a comprehensive quest tracker.
Again, shoutout if “Payment in Kind” isn’t the quest you left off with, we can take another look 
Hi Kerrosh, thanx for your reply. I went to Nazjatar and found Lady Jaina however no exclamation mark so was not able to pick up the quest. I have used the wowhead profiler. I have completed the Tyrande storyline. However I am not able to pickup the Stay of Execution storyline. When i go to Stormwind, Anduin Wrynn is not sitting on his throne but he has replacement. Obviously because Anduin is at the Jailer in Thorgast.

There is a small questline that basically leads to this achievement, including saving Baine Bloodhoof. I would suggest that you head to Nazjatar and check if Jaina is there, with a quest that sends you to Stormwind.
Oh okay, I seem to have checked something wrong there earlier and it looks like you are actually still at an earlier stage of the war campaign. Sorry, the war campaign can be a little all over the place, so I seem to have gotten lost 
I checked this again, and can see that the last completed quest in the chain you have done is “The Gathering Storm”, so your next quest should be “Retaliation Coordination”, which you can pick up from Jaina in Boralus not Nazjatar. Again, sorry for sending you to the wrong spot, but every character exist in like 8 versions each at this stage, so it’s hard to keep up.
Let me know if “Retaliation Coordination” was the missing link here, otherwise we can keep looking 
Hi Kerrosh, the quest i needed was Spy vs Spy. It is a mission table "quest "on the boat in Boralus. After completing this one I received The Gathering Storm. Thanks for you help
