can we PLEASE have something like this in the future ? i loved these in bfa and i’m sure there are people who didn’t but i think these stuff make the game feel more like an mmo . what do you guys think ?

We probably will at some point. It’s a good feature and it certainly helped spark a bit of world pvp. Just a little. We have to wait for this “family” expansion to expire I guess.

I loved open world PvP in BfA, it was the pinnacle of MMORPG gameplay imho. Just pure chaotic fun. I don’t think we’ll see it again, sadly, as Blizz has decided that Faction war is over for good.

Don’t be decieved by the rainbows and puppies in this expansion.
I’m guessing after the SL fiasco they had to play it safe. The faction war is there and they will throw it in whenever they need a distraction.

No such thing. The intro quest specifically tells you there’s a truce. Nothing more.
Do you mean the events where a bunch of WQs appeared on the map and you did 4 of them and then had to fly to an airship and do some stuff and then kill a captain?
I do think those were a good way to use WQs, concentrate a bunch of them in a small area and let us pick the 4 we want to do.
Elemental Storms and Time Rifts could have worked similar to this and they would have been a lot better.
The current WQ model is not good in my view. They’re too scattered. Few of them are worth doing individually. They give 50 rep and maybe 2 crests. If it’s an item it’s 415 (when I’m 441 and I’m a very slow gearer).

I wish I had your faith. Blizz has made a point of stating that many old ideas about how the game should work are gone for good, and I suspect the faction war is included in that.
Well, I see a considerable amount of changes that could indicate that the factions will be dissolved but I also know that certain individuals in the Blizz team are still firmly rooted in the faction philosophy so I have faith that they will not let this happen anytime soon.
I think cross faction as a game mechanic was well received, but we can stop here. There’s no need to dilute the game more than that.
