BFA, can't progress war campaign

I’ve hit 50 (regardless of what my character says here), I got all reps to friendly and I’ve established 3 footholds from the previous storylines of war campaign and according to a guide I should be able to get Breaking Kul Tiran Will however, it is not available to me. Does anyone know why?

It is probably another victim of the prepatch and Blizzard breaking legacy content.

Did you finish

?

Nvm idk if you hat is necessary…
Just wondering

No I just looked that up. I have not completed that quest but I can’t see it available anywhere either.

Also the quests for warcampaign are “max” lvl content so you have to be lvl 50 for it.

For Uniting Zandalar you need to finish all area storylines

I have finished all storylines in Zandalar as well as the three war campaign stories to get footholds and I am level 57 (as I said, ignore what the site says, it’s not tracking my levels properly)

For example, I have unlocked the achievement for Zandalar Forever!

could you check again?

I’m looking at my achievement right now. I can’t post images on here and I dunno where I could post pics to link to here either. I’m going to restart my game, see if anything changes.

Do you have the heart of azeroth?

No, I opted to not do the A Dying World as it didn’t seem necessary.

You need the heart of azeroth to continue the quest line.

You need to do it, to have the Heart.
The follow up quest is bugged, the portal to move MOTHER to the Heart chamber is not appears and you can"t go back to the Chamber either.
The only workaround I found was the Nazjatar compagain, when Magni appears in Nazjatar and told you to visit him in the Chamber; then you will be able to re-enter without doing the one way ticket to the Heart Quest.

All right, thanks. I’ll to go and try that later then when the game decides to start working again. For some reason when I hit launch it doesn’t start the game up now. WOTLK works fine but retail’s being strange.

Blizzard is a small indie company so it is understandable that every new patch has 128,5% chance of breaking previous expansion functions.

Yeah, I needed to do A Dying World and the heart thingie afterwards and now continuing quests are unlocked.

There’s no breaking previous expansion functions going on here.

It’s that to progress the quest line in question, you need the heart of azeroth. You always needed it but it was mandatory to get it in BFA to even be able to do BFA content in regards to questing, you couldn’t really do anything without obtaining the heart of azeroth. Everyone had the heart of azeroth at the time they started the war campaign due to this.

After BFA was over, BFA became optional content unless you’re new and you can not obtain the heart of azeroth at a low level, so people aren’t getting the heart of azeroth like you had to in BFA. By the time new people or people opting to do BFA can get it, they’re ready for shadowlands.
