now with shadowlands delayed and prepatch coming do blizzard normally make any discount of the current expansion before the new one comes out? i want to buy bfa for the instant 110 and to prepare my char for shadowlands but theres no way i buy it at full price for 1-2 months…
It is apparently being included in the base game when the patch drops according to Ice Veins, tho no confirmation from Blizz as yet.
I’ve heard pre-patch it will become base game, so no. I personally think they will have a sale on race/faction changes though.
The levelling will be so much faster and the classes will all be different so you really are better off just levelling for SL.

They did it last time but we don’t know if this is going to be a standard going forward. We’ve had no confirmation from Blizz as far as I’m aware.
In the past some previous expansions were added to the base game later. So we don’t know. I wouldn’t want any one to presume and be disappointed but it could happen!
Not weird at all, they have done it for all expansions so far, the previous expansion gets added to the base game (or Battle Chest) as it used to be called.
I mean you would think they’d have a BfA sale right now… maybe when the new SL release date is out they’ll do a pre-order bundle?
look at Icy Veins, it is on there that it will probably be added.
It just says in big red text that they think that.

At least they put a big red disclaimer at the bottom that this isn’t confirmed yet.
I guess we’ll find out on the 13th for sure. I certainly wouldn’t recommend anyone buying it until then. It is a reasonable presumption that they will do the same thing but without confirmation there is no guarantee.

Well considering prepatch comes with the level squish and leveling changes it would be awkward for new players to be forced to do BFA content if they aren’t getting BFA for free.

This is what makes it more likely that it will be included. But I certainly can’t tell anyone yes it’s definite without actually having any Blizzard confirmation
thats 100% true, i think they are forced to give bfa free because the lvl squish and all the leveling zones reworked

It’s pretty obvious Blizzard won’t broadcast left and right when BFA will become baseline as there are hundreds of people without BFA yet, so if they set this date, those people will just wait and get it for free, Blizzard is silent and most non-patient players will buy BFA and will yield money to developer

Its best bet to wait till 13.10 and see if they added it. Then you just level faster anyway so you dont need the free boost. Save your cash.
