So, I woke up one day and thought: “It would be nice to get those cool transmog appearances from Dazar’alor, Shrine of the Storm Mythic, etc.”. Luckily, I have gotten what I wanted from Dazar’alor after 3 runs with 2 characters, but here comes the best part: I wanted the Lord Stormsong transmog set from Mythic Shrine of the Storm, yet every run I do, with two cloth wearing alts weekly, I get a TINY AZERITE SPLINTER from the two bosses that drop the transmog that I want.
I don’t care about artifact power, not when I am on an alt, and not when I am in an instance! I get into the dungeon for ANYTHING BUT AZERITE. I can gather more Azerite from World Quests, or better, ISLAND EXPEDITIONS, which exist primarily FOR AZERITE. At least, if we are to get Azerite from dungeons, give us something that is worth the run, like a “Humming Azerite Heart”, not a SPLINTER! It is like killing the Lich King and getting to obtain one of his TEETH! What would I ever do with that? Really?
Any time you get azerite it mwans you got nothing. Azerite isnt taking the slot for loot, its filling an empty loot spot. If there wasnt any youd just get gold instead.
Depending on how seriously you’re playing your alts, using a bonus roll might be an option to increase the chance.
The bonus roll gives me an azerite cluster instead of a splinter. WOW! What a difference! We won’t have the Heart of Azeroth next expansion anyway. While the appearances…those we will keep having. So it will be either a few coins or azerite teeth.
U can also run m+, its even more rng, but u can do m+2-5 in pretty much same time as m0, and u can spam them endlessly without any ID so definitely more chances than 1/2 per week.
