BFA Food Level too high for leveling

I started levelling my new char at BFA from level 10 but all the vendors sell food and drink only for level 45 . Should the food/drink be scalable?

This is a prime example of Blizzard coming up with a ‘brilliant’ idea but failing on the ‘thinking it through’ bit.

If you want food and drink then you’ll need to buy in Ogrimaar, if you want to cook your own food me prepared to spend some time in the old Vanilla zones gathering mats and learning cooking.

Well done Blizzard.

yea , there is no point to learn cooking at the moment when SL releases in two weeks’ time.

Frankly needing to level up to drink a glass of milk was always a bit silly from the start, but with how fast you level up now, and how later consumables are available earlier due to chromie time, all vendor based food should be made edible for level 1 characters. The vast majority of them don’t even give stat boosts so it’s not going to “break” anything unless someone being able to recover their mana quicker and return to playing in a low level dungeon where you usually don’t need to drink much is seen as “breaking them”.
