BFA gear in Timewalking

First run:
2 players with:

  • The same spec
  • Same talents
  • Same legendary
  • Both all SL gear

DPS: Almost the same

2nd run:
Same 2 players with the:

  • Same spec
  • Same talents
  • one in full SL gear + Legendary
  • One in full BFA gear (Azerite)

One with BFA gear did 50% more dps than the one with SL gear which is insane!

I know TW is a joke, but this is just an FYI post.

yep, happens when you build up systems and then disabled them for the “new” max content only.

Yeah you can use Tarecgosa, MoP cloak, Azerite armor, WoD ring, etc in Timewalking. Also you can use some old set bonuses.

Because ilvl in timewalking doesn’t matter, it all scales down. Only thing that matters is if it happens to have extra properties or how OP the added effects are.

The fun of timewalking is building OP sets by taking bits from different expansions. Blizzard already like nerfing these things, don’t give them ideas.

It’s Friday my dudes

That’s the fun of Timewalking, going to your Bank and cleaning the dust off of your old expansion gear. I wish we could still use Legion legendaries :frowning:
