We got tuns of pve world of quests. Add something with flavor.
There are people like myself who prefer to be in the world doing stuff, fighting. Add it please, It most definitely wont hurt the game.

Seconded. No idea why they didnāt just copy paste the Legion wpvp quests into the bfa zones. Those were great.
I can swear Iāve seen a WQ at Vigil Hill once that seemed to be PvP-styled, as it gave 15 conquest points (No, it wasnāt during an assault). But itās gone forever it seems, hm.
Not exactly sure what form they will take, but capturable objectives coming soon in 8.2. Could be a wq type situation. But in wm, I think of all pve wqs as being wpvp wqs. Iām at them to wpvp first. But ye, wpvp specific onesā¦ bounties are a mobile wpvp wq. Air drops are a stationary but variable position wq, potentially wpvping to capture their loot. Ye, more like that pls blz. Weāll see something new in 8.2 anyway.
It still exists, just isnāt the most common one
Also there is literally no way to level your neck with pvp so they need to do somethingā¦
Spoiler: They wonāt though
I wonder how they will deal with those thouā¦ I donāt want to bash sharding more then necessary. But when you load into Nazjatar it seem to be a āchanceā if you control these objectives or not then also if itās even possible to capture them or not(shard balance). Depending on how they plan to use these and the eventual effect they might grant, may cause even further issues unless handled in a good way.
Ye no idea, but looking forward anyway!
Well,PvP rewards azerite, which Blizzard probably consider to be good enough
But letās be real, the amount you gain for the time you spend in PvP is as good as nothing really, you gain as much azerite as one WQ would give you per BG
Which aināt too bad if BGās are what you strive for all things considered. Itās a bit more overall, then most dungeon activities as long as you win. I suppose the WPvP bonus was blizzards intent to solve this for pure PvP players.
However I still sort of think the Warmode are a missed opertunity. If PvP had remained seperated from PvE there could been a possibility to add PvP unique gameplay options such as Items with one single secondary and then a unique PvP stat which are active while opted into WM. Lets say this stat whould be a bit superior to other secondaries but unuseable in PvE.
Perhaps being similar to versatility mixed with the old resilience stats Increasing healing, damage, critical chance and universal speed by a certain margin while decreasing damage and crit damage taken while in warmode or instanced PvP. Then the lack of conquest vendors could become a bit less āannoyingā by simply always offer a option with Haste, Crit or Mastery + this PvP stat.
Since PvE and PvP whould be seperated more distinctively they could add PvP related rewards to WQās in WM like honor, marks of honor, conquest or even gear rewards tailored for PvP.
My dream whould also involve a faction vendor with corresponding reputation for example Alliance have SI:7 for PvE and then a 2nd faction perhaps Stormwind City Army which whould provide PvP rewards.
But instead of having reputations going from friendly - exalted, you whould instead gain reputation and go from Squire - Grand Marshal, ofcourse limited to certain ranks depending on season.
Each rank whould then increase the WM bonus by perhaps 3% and increase the Ilvlās rewarded from WQās. So back in season one this whould had been capped at 5 ranks, granting you 15%(3% per rank) bonus to AP gains and 25 Ilvls on PvP-WQ gear. If gear whould had started at 335 they whould become 360 once you capped out your faction reputation. So now in season 2 people could get a maximum of 30% bonus and +50 ilvls to WQ-PvP gear putting the items rewarded at 385.
Not that it whould end here, ranking up with your faction whould also allow you to spend marks of honor to buy pieces of PvP gear, including Azerite which donāt reward residuum upon scrap/DE, up to the current HC quality for the season at the highest rank(ilvl 400 in S2).
This whould allow the best gear to only be obtained trough high rated RBGās and Arenaā¦ but at the same time allow people to catch up by investing more time into playing with WM-On. For alts they whould get a bit of alliance/horde reputation for doing quests or fighting other players while leveling up, making it fairly possible to start at a higher rank or at least the highest rank of previous season after leveling up to 120.
The Alliance/Horde supply vendor could also offer up some nice and fun rewards for people who have maxed out their PvP gear possible to be aquired from these means. Like for example PvP heirlooms, PvP potions(now useable in the open world while in WM), tabards, battle standards, bandages etc.
Very good idea!
And do not forget to fix the lags in WPvP!
Those arePvE quests with PvP rewards. Not really intersted in that, can do those at anytime.
What I have in mind is real world PvP. And for the best faction vs faction even knowing there is an issue with that.
Iād like a W-PVP Set of quests again, especially since people cant fly away currently
But what they do is bring people to a single area with the intent to PvP
I second that. <3
I miss the pvp quests we had in legion.
I aināt talking about the tower quests. Iām talking about the free for alls.
Bareback Brawl, Black Rook Rumble, the Murloc one, and the Highmountain cave area. There was one up at all times, and if you wanted some wpvp you could go there and get it.
Those kind of areas I want to see in bfa as well.
