Glyph for old Chaos Bolt animation

Change to the Soul shard system - It’s super unfun and clunky. No reason for it to even exist. Mage deals perfectly well without a resource system. Warlocks would as well.

Demonology to be given Metamorphosis. No reason why Demonology cannot be the caster variations while Demon Hunters use the melee variation of Meta.

i get that people enjoyed old demonology lock back in mop but i think its mostly just nostalgia for people that played back then, i found it overly clunky and awkward to play myself,

current demonology is a well rounded spec that other than explosive potential i cant see many issues with it, flows well specially after the first 30 seconds of the fight when you have your imps rolling, and as long as you dont have to move too much,

it wouldnt make sense to bring back old demonology because people always complain about homogonisation of classes and bringin back old demo would just mean there were two specs with meta that are basically the exact same spec other than mobility and utility, so its better to just keep things as they are unless they completely rework havoc as well

well i guess this just comes down to a matter of opinion, if i had a choice between mop demo and current demo i would take current demo every single time, i just fee like its a much better design for the spec. i like he idea of summoning a bunch of demons to fight along side you,

as i said before the only issue i really have with it is explosive potential, because generally the highest % of your dps is from your imps but you have to get rid of them to gain a buff, it just seems counter productive

I get where you’re coming from.
I have already voiced my problem with demonology in several other threads, but let me tackle your argument.

The big difference between MoP and BfA warlock is in one word “rigidity” or perhaps “choice”. We currently have a specc that relies heavily on a set rotation. Any movement or mistake in that rotation leads to overcapping and/or a general loss of dps. This would be relatively okay if we would’ve been able to recover quick enough from such problems. Don’t get me wrong though: Timing your cooldowns in a fight properly to avoid having to move and/or interrupt your burst phase, is a given and should be encouraged.

Now if we compare it to the MoP/WoD demonology:
Our resource was far less of a problem due to the huge pool we had. Essentially 1000 Demonic fury vs 5 shards currently.
Dps was far less dependant on a rotation. And even if you screw up the Hand of Gul’dan rotation, you still did decent damage. It didn’t interrupt your flow too much.
Mis-timing any Demonic Fury spell also didn’t immediately cost your head and was easy to recover from in a second. Whilst now you have to hope for either a refund or you have to hardcast for 6 seconds straight to recover.
The freedom in what ability to use and when also allowed you to be flexible in your playstyle without killing your dps.

So the question between these two style becomes: How much choice/flexibility do you want?
Want to play a relatively predictably? BfA demonology.
Want more flexibility and choice? MoP/WoD.

Was demonology too good? Perhaps. But if blizzard really wanted us to be less good at single target damage or AoE, they could’ve adjusted the numbers accordingly instead of completely reworking a fun and flexible specc.
