For a fair while now I have been trying to get some specific transmogs for my Orc Warrior, The big beefy spiky plate shoulders and helmet, The Warfronts Horde Plate (Weekly Recolor) it’s called on WoWHead, It only gets rewarded once per week from the weekly Warfront quest… trouble is no one is running them anymore which makes completing the quest through queuing for it impossible.
I queued for a total of 8 hours today and it never popped.
Is there any chance the role of actual people/players could be supplemented by reasonably powerful NPC’s ?
If not then make all the warfront armours craftable or purchasable, They legit serve no other purpose than to be transmogs anyway.
Chances are Blizzard are rather removing the warfronts than reconfigure them to be open for custom group sizes and solo players. The transmogs? Poof gone, like other mogs from legacy content.
I hope they will be able to do something with them in the future, we frequently see peopel after the transmog from the warfront. They either need to put in a vendor or make it so people can actually do the warfronts.
If you have the set (or even just parts of it) on horde for whatever armor type (cloth, leather, plate, mail) then you’ll also have it on Alliance and vice-versa.
The poor warfronts should be allowed to rest in peace. They could have been great fun if they had been pvp and actually required strategy, I could see them remade into epic battlegrounds, but just having to fight a very simple AI made them very boring since you won 99% of the time but still had to spend like 30 minutes in there.
Agreed, In total I was queued up to run the warfront on my warrior for 8 hours, Never popped once and if this is the only way to get the shoulders, Helmet etc… as the boots, Legs, Belt, Hands and wrist are craftable, Then they should make the whole set craftable because getting them the traditional way is obviously not possible due to no one queueing up for wafronts.
it was when you had afk leeches inside. i pushed hard even on alts, trying to make the experience enjoyable as possible for everyone and finished them quickly. The music, the setting, the updated art object of zones all made it fun for me to participate.
and to people who say they were too easy, well 4xm0 weekly quest is easy too.
but if you have actually good players in group it gets done fast and painless.
people who hated wfs should be honest about their actual contribution in terms of dps, only bad attitude towards fellow players made them slow pace.
compared to psyco screeches you hear while doing torgast and 100 of same ghost in armour or skeleton mobs to maw through inside almost the same corridors/floors…
but Torgast has 1 redeeming quality - solo mode when you dont have to deal with the same people who made warfronts boring.
i havent been in a single torgast group, only doing it solo on all 8 of my 60 lvl chars.
