BG Blitz Bug: Simultaneous Loading Screens Cost Me 200 Rating Points

I recently encountered a frustrating issue while queuing for BG Blitz, and I’m curious if anyone else has had a similar experience or knows how to handle it.
Here’s what happened: I was farming transmog in the Emerald Nightmare raid when the BG Blitz queue popped. I clicked “Enter,” and while waiting for the match to start, I was falling into the entrance of the final boss room. The BG loading screen appeared, and I entered the lobby with the other players, but almost immediately, another loading screen started (for the raid) after which, I was teleported back to the raid. I was removed from the BG, received a “No-Show” debuff, and lost over 200 rating points as a result.
This bug dropped me from around rank 55 to 100 on the PvP ladder. As someone working hard on the weekends to push for this positon, this was a tough blow, especially since it wasn’t due to my actions or connection.
Has anyone else encountered a similar bug with simultaneous loading screens or experienced a penalty like this? I’d also appreciate advice on how to handle this and hopefully be able to revert the penalty.

All players who do not manage to connect, leave or otherwise aren’t present somehow to a PVP match gets a penalty of 200 rating and a no-show debuff that increases each time you fail to be there.
Your actual MMR is unaffected as of now.
This penalty was introduced after significant feedback to do something about leavers in matches. I was already afraid and expressed my concerns that it will also hit the occassional/accidential leavers but it was not introduced with any leeway.

Yes I have. I clicked join Bg as I jumped through a raid portal.
Load screen for BG. Loaded in main city with deserter debuff.
Clearly an issue with loading tbh. I’d recommend being careful around instance portals and BG queues!
exactly,i got dc on my dh at 2k rating 4x time >:'( but my mmr stayed the same and every time i climbed back.
