Brawl: BG Blitz.
So far, i like it, fast phased and all, people actually trying, instead of ‘‘afk’’.
But one thing i hope to change: Team colors.
As an alliance player, when match starts, and i’ve been placed in as a ‘‘horde’’, im ‘‘team red’’, when in normal BG im team ‘‘blue’’.
Im not going in depths any further, but could we have an option, that we could see our teammates in BG as the colour of our faction (or maybe, as we choose(yellow, brown, green, purple etc))?
Just today, in Silvershard Mines blitz… i look at red, and im alliance… i go for the cap, just to notice: im a ‘‘horde’’ player.
P.S Any1 had WSG or Twin peaks in blitz yet? I’ve played about +30 blitz this week, and 0 WSG or TP maps so far.
Yah. Agreed. I keep mistaking what team I’m on because I’m so used to having anything related to Red was the Horde.
Me: YEAH! We’re winning! For the Horde- Horde Wins. YOU LOSE.
Me: Huh?.. Oh shoot, I was on the Alliance team!
It would make it simple if it was simply called Team Red and Team Blue.
Or perhaps, like the Arenas, it could also be ‘Team Yellow’ and ‘Team Purple.’
That way it helps prevent confusion over Horde and Alliance players who had been used to faction Battlegrounds for years, and it is something they’ve used before, so they could easily make Alternate colours to Team bases/flags/icons/etc.
the main reason is question of habit yes but also some people mistake color in panic
it also help to define the spawn like on Silvershard to say " allliance side / horde side" since there’s no color of the spawn.
saying alliance and horde really define also building, and when talking in forum if i say twin peak alliance bridge , there is only 1 point of the map, if you say “red side bridge” it’s less clarified
However to fix the "i thought since i am human in ranked/brawl i would always be alliance " WoW dev can do like Warcraft 3 / SC2 with a button to activate a green color to team side you are in and purple for ennemies and that can help to recognise wich side you are on.
But generaly you open scoreboard to check your name and color.
