as suggested by the title, is it possible in arathi basin at least to make honorable kills reach all the map? right now it doesnt pay off to defend a base. so most people are just zerging around farming hks… or atleast give some sort of passive honor per 30 sec when standing near a flag

Defending = Points = Win for your team
you literally get 5k+ honor from honor kills zerging around… you arent guarenteed a win by staying at a base
So, the ones who arent really doing the objectives get double up. They can just roam around (farming hk’s) , while someone else has to try to win the game.

Many players in randoms go afk or play any BG like a Team deathmatch.
AB and WSG is clearly not TDM, there are objectives to win a round.
Respect to all players who defend bases, you understood the objectives to win as a team.
The rest of the selfish garbage in random groups is the reason why premades exist.
People want to fight… But they fail to see that they also can fight near objectives

This, own faction mess up all time but blaming pre-mades. So sick of it.
Yeah objective based games don’t work well in a pug setting.
Should heavily incentivise individual reward for doing team objectives.
Same issue with counterstrike - everyone rushes as CT instead of defending base. Even on higher ranked PUG games.
So HKs while defending = quadruple honor
While attacking a base = quadruple
Healing a player who gets a HK - healer gets double honor.
Defending flag carrier = quadruple
It will incentivise monkeys into some basic objective based game play.
I will make random mid map zerging less rewarding.
Kills alone usually give at least between 8-12K in a pug, where you win. Defence on the other hand, with low numbers of kills? At least you get your 7500 honor by turnin
But I don’t see a good solution on this, as we all know some just want to AFK at either stable of farm.
Great example, casual players ignore PvP objectives and turn everything into team death match.
