Can anyone explain why the queue time for random bgs is so long?
On max lvl its atleast 15 minutes and on level 10-90 its sometimes even 30 minutes, i mean when i used to play Cata back in the days it was like 5 minutes, the only thing i enjoy is pvp, and especially bgs and this makes it kinda annoying ;(

It’s cause blizzard created a problem they have Absolutely No clue how to fix.
They made horde racials super-overpowered, so everyone mass exodus’d to horde. Over time, more and more just left the alliance. This lead to there being Very few actual alliance players…just take a look at the top PVE achievements. Or alliance pvp in general.
The devs made this problem and now they’re trying to act like there isn’t a problem.

As Alliance my queue is 3 - 4 minutes on average day, max 5 mins. The problem is there is way more Horde than Alliance players = longer queue.
You have two options: join Alliance or play Mercenary mode.
Its because most people play horde and you are waiting with your horde friends in queue all the time while alliance play bgs every 3 minutes or so.
They should just add an ‘enforced’ mercenary mode - convert excess players to the other faction to reduce queue times.
Or have both factions in the same queue pool and randomly assign players to a team.

Did you ever tried to queue with any Alliance char? Maybe it is a better idea to queue on Alliance char if you are so upset about your queue wait times.
He can queue alliance if he wants too for short queue

Thats what I do on my horde chars
I barely queue horde
If they will do this, then they should also do the same with random dungeon and raid queues. We are waiting too much for these.

Its because most people dont queue lfr raids. Myself I only made heroic azshara or m+10.
Also lfr raids and random dungeons are regional.
German , russian , french and eu.
German lfr raids are german servers only.
Yea, Alliance have some huge random dungeon and random raid queue problems. I think beloved hordies can help with this, as we always help them on their rbgs queue times.
Or they can merge
German , french and russian alliance players with eu on lfr just like I mentioned.
I don’t think this is a good idea. German people are good on english und ich kann auch Deutsch sprechen aber french and Russian people joining their own server because they don’t speak English. How can you explain this people on heroic Atal Dazar lfr that they should destroy 3 totems at the same time on Vol’kaal encounter? The people today even don’t understand it on English servers.
Strange i tried on 2 Alliance characters on 2 different realms and both is 15+ for random bgs or korrak, can’t imagine it would be that big different when queueing on 120 compared to 90

They made it on epic bgs tho what I told to you.
On 120 its very short.
compared to cata, WoW lost like 2/3 of it’s playerbase, also the % of people who actively participate in PvP has gone down. combine that with horde/alliance imbalance and you have your answer.

I was talking about lvl 120 only queue times. I guarantee you it’s shorten than 5 mins for random BGs and you might wait a minute or two longer for Epic BGs, if you don’t queue too early in the morning or after midnight.
You can check it by yourself with your 120 Undead Rogue: go to Dalaran Sewers and get Mercenary mode, so you would be able to queue as Human (or Dwarf?) Alliance for 1 hour.
No idea why queue is longer for lower levels. I guess that people just speed up leveling as fast as possible with doing pve stuff mostly.
Oh i never know about ‘mercenary mode’ queue time is now 4 minutes, this is an improvement, thanks

I never queue horde on my horde chars unless its necesarry to queue horde.
You wont feel big differences too.
Not enough people minerals (they dont) participate in pvp anymore as much as before.
Been queueing to random bgs for few hours with my girlfriend from horde side as every night I do with her. We are 2 players.Horde queue has been 45 minutes lately. And when we queued mercenary it dropped to 25 minutes.
Maybe its because we queue 4am too. Thats why. There isnt difference on winrates too.
I went 11-2 win/loss winrate on alliance with my girlfriend as 2 people premade.
