So… instead of cutting the honor gain from STV in half you cut it in 4, which is now completly and utterly useless to gain honor from. BGS (as alliance) are as fun as going to the dentist, sitting in the chair and the assistant says “doc we got no anesthetics anymore” and he goes with “NP we just do it!”. You get 1 clapped by shamans, which are as strong as a 1 man 5 man group, on top of that, you get bot burgers afking in the house, at the GY or wander around as ghost. So tell me how should you humanly possible, farm honor as alliance?

The main issue is the same since P2, matchmaking is broken and small horde premades get instant queue tickets.
Every single AB I did in p3 so far had at least 2-3 horde small scale premades and it’s the same ppl you face again and again while solo players probably have 40 minutes queues.
So as alliance you are basically stuck fighting premades and it sucks. The best answer to this is to play 5 man premades yourself.

Slow progress, save coins, do some ab’s, and when you get a good streak going between rank updates do the calcs on your saved coins if its enough to rank up
But will probably take continious 2 STV’s a day for like 3-4 weeks + AB’s to get rank 7 if you play casual
I feel like i played as much as i felt like playing and only reached around 50-60k this week IIRC
I don’t mind that it is like that, what i do mind is that some people got alot of honor from STV phase 2 coins and easy rank 7, and then they announce phase 3 with no prep time, i for example bought the raptor mount the day before the announcement since i figured it would be a non issue to get the honor aswell before next phase due to how it was set up and boom “its here in a few days”
It was to easy, but it’s imbalanced as it is now to let some people get easy rank, and others needing to hardgrind against said people for the same result
They should change it to 500 honor per silver so it’s still annoying but doable, and for next phase do it like it is now so if you want to double down for progress you should be rewarded for it
No the best answer is stop playing this game if you want to play PVP. Or reroll to elemental shaman or ud priest.
Afking is bad? Yes it is but is it better to be a farmable npc for the full randged horde premade groups xD? As a malee character what can you see? you dont even get to the enemy and you are full with priest dots since 3-4 is in the horde group. Maybe you can hit someone once but you are already dead cuz randged players will nuke you with 1500+ crits while you have 3k hp. Just look at elemental shaman xDD 50% chance for elemental overload… 1800+900 lavaburst+1300 instant chain lightning. But this is just one of many, because almost every randged deletes people with 2-3 spells.
There is no point in all of this, unless you enjoy the fact that during 3 second fights someone 1 hit the other.
I farmed my 110k honor to get my rank 7 as a human warrior and oh boy I am not touching pvp again this phase.
Shaman situation + better racials make horde win by default
