Big Anihilate PvP Dreambuild

So after aquiring the 2 piece tier set, I figured there must be some way to abuse the massive damage boost to our main spender. Some cheesy build to absolutely smash unaware peeps who just happen to come your way. This probably wont be working in higher rated pvp, because people will shut you down, altough the setup should come every 30 seconds.
Here are my findings after doing some random bgs.
Covenant: Necrolord ( )
Must Have Conduit: Relentless Onslaught ( great synergy with the playstyle)
Gear: 2set bonus + mostly honor pieces, 262 pvp ilvl.
Chaos Theory leggo. 50% bonus to anihilate when it procs.
Fastidious Resolve Glad Trinket.
Must pick Talents:

  • Blind Fury = Quickly fill your Fury bar.
  • Essence Break. = 40% Bonus to Anihilate.
  • Fel Eruption = Helps with Setup.
  • Demonic = 6 Seconds of Anihilate on demand.
    Must have PvP Talents:
  • Isolated Prey:
    - 10% Bonus damage after Eye Beam ( exactly 6 seconds, the duration of Meta with Demonic talent. Sweet sweet synergy)
    - You really need the extra fury from Fel rush with this build, so another bonus.
  • Chaotic Imprint: 10% bonus to anihilate. It keeps getting better.

Here is how you basically play:

  • Throw Glaive debuff on target 24/7
  • Build passive fury / use fel rush on cd, and spam Blade Dance on CD. You are fishing for the Leggo Proc.
  • Get Necrolord Fodder to flame to proc ( not really necesary but itā€™s ideal)
  • WHEN CT Procs:
    • Gladiator Resolve Trinket. Prevents them to stop your go ( hopefully).
    • Fel Eruption.
    • Full Eye Beam.
    • Essence Break.
    • SPAM ANIHILATE. And I do mean spam it. If you run out of juice, quick fel rush and spam some more. Your window of damage is 6 seconds, and at this point you should be well over 80% haste with correct gear, your GCD should be close to hardcap, aka 0.75 sec, combined with the fury return from CT, you should get 7-8 anihilates in easily, with extra procs from conduit being a bonus.

Some number crunching:
I will probably update with pics later, but on pvp geared people, I do on average 10-11k NORMAL Hits ( 6k mh + 5k oh ), and i have critted for over 18k with a single anihilate. The good part is the damage is Chaos, so pretty consistent overboard across most classes regardless of armor.
You can easily do someoneā€™s full hp and more during the burst window, again, if they dont find a way to stop you.

Best Part: the core abilities needed have low cds, eye beam 30 sec, ct proc around every 3 blade dances, so 20 sec average, and essence break 20 sec. So its not a 2 min cd one shot macro. Its actually decently reliable for what its worth.

Have a nice day yall.

Would be amusing to play as, we get a lot of passive big damage from the aura leggo though donā€™t we. How often does this legendary actually proc? I liked the look of this one before I dusted off my DH

Well, 30% per blade dance as statedā€¦ but using blade dance on CD, with good enough haste, that should be a proc every 15-20 seconds on average ( assuming u have uptime on target, but as DH you kinda should).
I had switched to this leggo full time for both PvP and PvE since I got the 2 piece bonus, because the gameplay feels much more engaging. I play First Blood tho in PvP, feels much more fluid.
You have to actually watch fury levels, and only blade dance when above 70-75 fury, because in case of a proc, you will have enough fury to last you the entire 8 seconds of Anihilation spam. Also ideally you should have Eye Beam ready right after a proc ( if you are not in Meta already)

I would say play burning wound in 3s pressure comps, RBG / Random PvP, SoloQue. But in 2s, when focusing a single target / lower cleave situation, Chaos Theory ends up doing more damage, and A LOT more burst. But like I said, itā€™s not comfortable AFK damage.
Itā€™s basically a ā€œSubtlety Rogueā€ like playstyle, with CT procs being like really strong Shadow Dances, and you kite/pad damage between goes.

It sounds really good. I will probably pick it up and get it set up once Iā€™ve more gear to swap around. Wonder if people are even wise to that? Like, I know Iā€™ve seen the proc on DHs before, but would people respect it as much as they should
