A cool idea would be to introduce 50-slot bags to the store at, say, 5 euros each.
There is already a lot of space missing from the bags. It’s a good way to make it easier for players and earn money to develop the game.
No, just no…
Why not? 5 euros is a very affordable price and at the same time it can help players who use different equipment for raids, mythic+ and pvp, in addition to dealing with professions and gold farming
I wouldn’t mind removing the blizz token and instead start selling more mogs in the store.
I want to see how many people will then complain and compare this game to the Japanese counterpart
No. The shop only gives mounts or transmogs.
Once you give something that gives advantage (more bag space for gathering) then that starts being PTW, which is what they’ve managed to avoid so far.
It would be even better if they just remove bags as a craftable thing and simply give everyone the combined large bag that comes with dragonflight UI as standard.
Yeah lol why not just buy other quality of life advantages with real money? How about a 0 cooldown on Hearthstone? How about higher movement speed? How about getting increased drop rates for rare mounts?
And why stop there? Why not let us buy gear, like item level 400 with money?
Jesus Christ, these people. Go play Raid: Shadow Legends or something.
You are triggering my SWTOR ptsd.
No.
No.
Big no.
OR OR OR add content to earn the bags instead of just cashing in xd
Have they, though? I mean, I accept the word-lawyering argument that WoW can’t be PTW because, technically, there is no “win”. So I don’t use that term.
But Pay-To-Skip? Pay-For-Progress? fer shoor they are doing that.
Sell Token → Buy Boost → Profit! (In Wow Progress terms, ofc)
Honestly, I think that if the devs didn’t have a desperate need to prop up raiding with subsidies, they would be selling (chances at) gear directly, instead of indirectly, through boost groups.
But back to the original point, I agree that the fewer things that can be bought, the better, so a big NO to bags in the shop.
This isn’t a F2P kickstarter. WoW’s making plenty of money - they have moved more developers to it. Any extra cash does not go into the game.
aGREE , and you will pay for whole EUROPE. ok? Deal?
there are different games where you can spend money on bag space, better try them before suggesting smth like that here.
Or even better they can start charging for “cloud bag space”. So basicly you wouldn’t buy a bag but a subscription for a service that would allow one of your characters to have a few more bag slots in the cloud. Ofc when you stop paying for that subscription you won’t be able to access your items until you start paying for that subscription again.
sorta sounds like ff 14’s exstra retainers
also op why settle for a mere 50 slots clearly it should be 100 slots per bag but joking aside once you go down the road of pay for convenience or advantage it becomes the norm and the company starts to milk the playerbase exstra hard that’s why even though you see so much whining about the cash shop in various mmo you see a legion of players with cash shop items
FF14 gets away with this. It’s disgusting.
Personally i don’t even see the need for 50 slot bags. I’ve 32 slot bags in every slot (except the fixed bag) which take very little mats to craft and don’t cost much on the AH if you can’t craft them. Never have space issues even when farming.
The fact that you can keep crafting regents in the bank now instead of needing to carry them around with you makes a big difference to bag space.
I just wish they would give up with all the stupid currency rubbish going in your bags. All that Anima could just go to your covent. They made that stupid mistake with the bfa stuff but then later changed it to go directly and skip your bags… so god knows why they didn’t do the same with Anima.
if the idea is that of the cloud, then why not make the ‘bag’ available to all your characters on the same server?
but maybe this can be called ‘guild bank’?
Why would you ask to be milked more? It makes no sense.
No double diping! Each character needs its own cloud subscription!
