Last season they were mostly Elemental Shamans this one they are mostly Havoc and Outlaw. Good example is that Schübert guy (currently around 2500 in RSS). It is getting stuck in Black Rook Hold on that crate and on Nokhudon on ramp. On top of it he auto Darkness at 50%. However the best example of the proof why is he bot I saw when he used the Hunt and in the middle of the Hunt flying animation he used Vengeful Retreat because Warlock coiled.
guys, but pvp community is to small to care about, you need to understand blizzard, they cannot put all resoruces to pvp, like in league, because we are huge minority that noone cares about
I am not really good with all these super pvp details and issues and add-on problems because I have never used any of them ( I want to, but no clue how to set up all these things). The only problem I can’t agree with and don’t actually see as a problem is long q time in shuffle. It’s just a simple consequence of people choice to be heroes and considering dealing dmg is way more fun than healing. Well eat it xD. We made this problem as I can see it.
Do you guys think that if blizzard implemented instant max level, every piece of gear available pvp realms more people would play pvp?
It’s weird for a PvP game to enter the fray as a noob and have a handicap on top of that, it’s like fighting prime george foreman when you never boxed in your entire life and to make it worse you have to wear a blindfold.
But it’s also a core feature of an rpg to be rewarded with power for the time you invested (other than just all the knowledge you acquired that makes you de facto better than the new players). And I know people pride themselves a lot to sticking to one class even when it’s bad so that might be another reason they don’t want gear to be freely accessible, to prevent too many FOTM.
Being able to plug and play might increase participation though? I guess that might be worth a shot.
There’s nothing too complicated. Most of them are user friendly and all you basically have to do is grab them and then open them up and check what options do what. It takes between 10 to 15 minutes to figure out an addon and set it up properly for your own comfort. After you’ve set it up, it stays that way and has a profile for your character that you can simply select on another character and have those settings copied over instantly, or by default they carry on to your other characters.
Different streamers and youtubers also have their own addon setup which you can directly import by using their provided links, in case you like their UI. It’s all a matter if you want to try doing it or not. People who say they are too “stupid” and “it’s too complicated” aren’t really stupid, they’re just lazy to try.
Just because something has a reason doesn’t mean it isn’t a problem. There is no way you cannot call waiting 30 minutes or more to start playing not a problem, regardless if you know the reason for why it is like that or not. People who commit crimes also usually have their own reasons, this doesn’t mean what they are doing isn’t a problem and the reasons don’t justify it.
No player “made” the long queue problem. It was simply to be expected before Shuffle was even implemented, because healers historically only push ratings with classes and people who are easier for them to heal, as healing is harder than being DPS. For example in 2v2 a great deal of healers play with the best DPS specs only and some of them barely do anything and get high ratings. While the same can happen for DPS playing with overpowered healer specs, such as Resto druid, it is to a lesser extent and an insane Resto Druid cannot do much if the game drags on too long, as dampening makes healers useless by default, while DPS damage only becomes more important throughout a match.
I have multiple healer friends who never touch Shuffle or when they do they have negative winrate, but in brackets like 2v2 and 3v3 they have much higher ratings and winrate, because they play comfort comps with good teammates and don’t get trolled.
I personally don’t want to play because how dull the game has become. Same classes same spells same races. No engaging story telling. For a game that continues over a decade, it fails to renew itself at acceptable pace. I think this is the main reason why players lose their motivation.
no, the biggest reason id say is the inability to just play the game
sitting endless lfg/lfm for ages without having mythic achi or r1 title to prove you can press buttons, and then disband after the first win or lose or play a no voice 1.5mmr game
its complete nonsense.
That all makes sense,I agree, but for me its that simple. If I am, for instance, dps only player and complaining about long q times, then nothing actually stops me from playing healer and not suffering from all these q times. I mean, Blizzard should fix this ofc, not players, we dont have any control over it. But at least do some daily minimum of healer shuffles for everyone in order to be able to q as dps lets say. 3 to 5 shuffles pro player. Thousands of players being kinda obligated to shuffle as healer for some ingame role balance would be pretty good imo. Noone just takes any actions about this unbalanced role distribution in pvp.
It seems this way as you said about 2v2 and 3v3, but times change and solo shuffle seems at least for me the future of pvp and we need to adapt to it.
U can easily see from the movements who is botting or who is playing good. For example u play with dh bot he will never take HS when u play with a lock runs to the corner before the game starts goes same path all the time blur at 70% dark at 50% and nether at 20%, glimpse every cc while not on cd. It’s more than obvious especially in black rook hold arena when u stay in the room and he runs into a wall and does his DPS rotation into a wall.
yes for stuff like this I understand but believe me, everyone is blaming every player now for cheating, even if he is just playing good. What I want to say is, that people are not believing any good plays now. U have 4 good kicks in a row? ur a kickbotter. U do much more dps than other and u don’t have mult gladiator under ur belt? must be a rotation bot… I think u get what I am saying. I am not speaking about the real obvious ones.
They can say whatever they want if u don’t use anything u shouldn’t be worry about it and just ignore it. It’s always gonna be like that people just getting tilted by good plays and tries to insult
This is the main problem I have with the game right now.
Every melee has an answer for a caster. The warlock ports/mage blinked away, lets jump/ charge to Africa and follow him.
“He slowed me… F you, lets blade storm, deal massive damage and slow him at the same time. Why not I guess…”.
For demon hunters it is, “Hey I have hunt, lets chase him to France and do 200k damage at the same time while also rooting him.” In the meantime I am immune to any cc in the air because … Blizzard… and I have a back jump and two dashes?". This goes on and on, looking at Monks, Hunters, Rogues and Death Knights.
The general approach should be, casters need to CAST. Not spam instants.
Utility has to be tuned down a bunch, similar to damage and resource regeneration for melees.
Warriors should struggle for Rage not have a ton to spam all keys at the same time. Rogues should manage their Energy properly, to have one or two good goes.
The game is plain cancer right now and I hate playing any caster in it…
