Add a sheathing slot to transmog where to choose how or where to display your weapon(s)
That would be amazing.
I find it a bit hard only to mention 1 thing, because I have 2 pve ones and 1 pvp one.
I think my biggest wish will be a mix of making renown accountwide and a profession balance/catch up.
For pvp please give us some more things to spend our thousands of honor on other than marks of honor and an epic box with stuff you already have tons of.
Buying that epic box over and over feels like throwing honor out of the window.
It could be cosmetic or honor could be account sharedā¦or something elseā¦just something more.
If you didnāt play DF right from launch youāre still spending a lot of time trying to get your renown to max and alts just get left behind because itās not worth all that time all over again. It definitely needs a catch up system.
In general, Iām a big fan of the current crafting system however some professions have an easy time, like alchemy, some are in the middle like jewelcrafting and tailoring and then you have the hard ones like blacksmithing and leatherworking. Itās just insane the amounts of knowledge points you need for those 2.
Either let us get more knowledge points overall per profession quest/order per week or add new ways to get more knowledge points for all professions.
Honestly weāre overdue account wide reputations in general at this point.
Oh God, thatās a dream right there. Iād love that.
Iām sure new players also would appreciate it, itās not just for people who were there since the beginning of DF, so I still think it would make sense. I came 4 months after launch and Iām still not maxed out in any formā¦then imagine players who started even later.
That would be great!
I wasnāt always a fan of it, but considering how often cloth sets resemble plate (and vice versa) these days, I canāt think of a good reason not to.
So yeah, would rock pretty hard!
Slow down or weaken the power gain from crafted items and Crests and balance meaningful items between raid/dungeon better.
Right now you can gear a character to 440+ in 2 resets, but you may never see your bis trinkets because they are locked behind raid bosses and 2 reset timmys are rolling their 9th alts against your main.
It is not a gold sink. Your simply moving gold from person A to person B.
Ok crests I can get behind, but not BL. We have drums for that.
Interesting. For me personally there are 3 sources of KP, 2 quests, Make me, go gather, and then the one from the artisens, which is to craft for someone else. How would you handle the latter ? as that would still be a massive pit of lost points.
Muwahahaha Iām evil arenāt I
But I completely agree with you on the account wide renown. In fact this is something people have been calling for since before day 1.
I had this chat with a guildy last night, that reputations arenāt what they used to be. The dayās of 4 levels (5 if you count hated) are long gone, and we both mentioned how we could and enjoyed using tabards to grind rep in dungeons, or got rep from raids. All of which now is removed in favour of grind dailies for peanuts of rep.
Same olā same 'ol
AH Mount back up for 5M
Other old raid mounts back up or reasonable drop rates for them.
All pets available for either purchase or reinserted with reasonable drop rates.
This would make the game truly inclusive instead of all the virtual virtue signaling.
Master Tiny!
as i explained further down the line, it is one player racking up all the gold and it is not evenly distributed anymore which causes many people having no gold that will make them buy tokens.
A person that has done the chores from beginning of df can get the money from hundreds of people.
So 1 person does not need to buy a token, but hundreds of others dont.
So yes technically it is not a gold sink as the gold does not disappear but it is certainly a big driver for token sales
My biggest wish is a story one. Donāt make the 10.2 renown faction some disconnected easily forgettable one like most have been.
Centaur - they seem to only care what happens to their plains. The rest of the isles can burn and they probably wonāt care. Their pact with the green dragonflight also feels very forced.
Tuskarr - just there to get people who played WotLK nostalgic. Once youāve dealt with the gnolls threatening them they mostly want to fish.
Niffen - some newly made forgettable mole people that Blizzard forced in instead of Kobolds. They hardly have anything to do with the black dragonflight who are the main focus of the Zaralek storyline.
it would be cool if you are maxed with knowledge to buy skillpoints for all other professions so i can easy peasy max them out for achievement i miss lw/tailoring/insc
and itās not like impossible but its boring as hell
Two wishes - first account wide Drakeās Crests.
Secondly let me sell or destroy Lost Dig Maps.
Both these are for bag/bank space.
Drakeās Crests are the maximum I go to and I have alts who would love them. I know that, as soon as I sell them, theyāll become account wide.
Lost Dig Maps canāt be removed from my mail box if I have one in my bags. I rarely do them any more as I get claustrophobia. Yes, I can sell them but for 1c??
If we put aside big changes, I would happy to see following:
-
introduce quality requirement for public orders and introduce more ways for crafters to guarantee the quality. I need r3 for gems and r5 for gear pieces, otherwise it makes no sense. So when I need to craft something, I need to find crafter in chat manually, make an agreement of price/free recraft until proc and so on. And for me public craft system is non existing at all, itās just a glorified postbox to send mats via personal order after all the arrangements. Ideally it would be nice to just push a crafting order with max quality requirement and a juicy commission and just wait instead of this manual nonsense.
-
questionable, but make gear upgrade system a little bit slower. In 10.1 I was done with the system in first 3 weeks, all slots 5/5 Hero, back to pure loot and GV lottery again. There was some more upgrades possible after release of Myth upgrade path, but still very very fast.
-
also sitting there on 100 crests of each kind, would be nice to have some use of them. Maybe some crazy way, like buy lootboxes with random piece for 30 crests. Or make them part of bad luck protection. Like one can try to get the piece in a normal way via drop, and crests are farmed in the same time. And then one can spend crests for upgrades, or to buy desired piece directly for a big amount of them, or buy extra loot coin, or somehow else increase chance of desired piece by spending crests.

rework Mythic raids old lockout system and make it work like Heroic. I understand the content is designed for guilds, but if your guildies stopped Mythic raiding until next patch - you are doomed. Raiding in pugs already has many issues, but in M itās very possible to finally join the raid with lockout, wipe for couple of tries and then disband. And now I locked out of Mythic until next week completely. I canāt try with other group, even just for training without gear drop. If you need to keep WFR nonsense, keep group lockouts until Hall of Fame, like one realm restriction.
I have to disagree here. Public orders is the ONLY way in which people can further their profession skill at the moment (eg getting from 50/100 to 66/100 etc). Putting a minimum quality requirement will mean people will simply not be able to level up at all any more.
Hmm, again I would disagree. If you slow this down, it then means levelling and gearing alts becomes more painful. And at a time where there is already so little to do im not sure we want to make it harder and put even more people off do we ?
Ok, no, just simply no. Now while I understand that the state of mythic raiding when guilds break apart (which has literally just happened to me on my main, so anyone needing a 4/9m tank with 18% on rashok, let me know) makes finding a new one hard and so pugging would be great, its a no.
This move would demolish the last bit guilds have left really. Before you know it youād have people leaving groups after 1 pull to join a new one etc.
I think a better approach would be to do what people have asked for , for a long time now, and that is revisit the format (IE 20 man) and maybe make a small option for guilds that stop or half of them stop, so there is some way to carry on.
This would also make it so people who enjoy maining tank arenāt mostly useless outside of M+.
Oh yeah, totally agree with it, keep lookout but make it flex instead of strict 20 would help a lot also.
Thanks for notion, probably Iām not aware of it, since I donāt do any crafting professions. Itās not possible to just buy mats and craft useless items to level up skill? Old way since vanilla, so to say.
