How common is this scenario though? That dps spec has no cds to get out of the root or no defensive cds to use or heals ready AND the healer is CC or has dispell on cd.
Every melee can get out of it though. Warrior has 3 options(avatar, bladestorm and trinket), WW has 3(port, freedom, trinket), rogue has 3 options(cloak, vanish, trinket) etc. the list goes on. Also since its a root not a stun every class can just use defensive cooldowns while rooted.

How can someone seriously argue binding shot is anywhere close as good as a stun. Can you word of glory yourself in a stun? can you evasion or vanish from a stun? can you freedom yourself from a stun? cast healing spells on you or your mates in a stun? unbelievable…
next time on my hunter I’ll just binding shot the healer and then blast the dps, I mean the healer is basically stunned for 8sec what could go wrong?
They tired about S tier class complaint on S tier class, cuz there is no nerfs. They need to cry about anything. Soon BM monks and their tones of utilities - DB, 2 AOE stuns, Guard +20% DR on 15 secs on 2 teammates, Ring of Peace and so on.
Nono hes right though I tend to overreact. When I play on holy Pala I usually safe my bubble+sac for the binding shot because its just so op. I dont know how else me and my mate could survive the nerfed 4k aimed shots the hunter then unleashes on us. Nerf hunter pls.

Don’t you get how stronk binding shot really is? I’d say it’s on par with mages frostnova…absolute insanely strong spell as we all know. I am kind of wondering no one made a post yet asking for a frostnova nerf, I mean come on its basically a 8 sec stun.
Well it has been a stun at some point though if I remember correctly.
