is there one that can take the current BiS item list from say wowhead and let me see that ingame aswell as the sources? its a pain to alt out all the time “yes 1 monitor”

Play in windowsmode instead then if its so bad with alt-tabbing.
3Addons cant talk with anything outside the game. There would have to be some sort of third party tool to download and then add it into the addon config.
hm? i mean an addon can have all current bis items preloaded in the addon then just update as the bis changes it doesnt have to talk to anything outside the game
I think this is honestly somewhat of a trap. That just isn’t how BIS works besides specific items with bonus effects or trinkets. It may have been back in TBC - WoD when there were say… 2 pairs of max ilvl cloth wrists and you had to pick between just them but that’s not how it is anymore. Now you have 5+ versions of every item for every slot with every stat combo and crafting + sockets and enchants to customize stats.
Besides obvious things like trinkets, what’s BIS is only BIS in the context of ALL the other items. Reality is there are maybe 100+ different combinations of items all within extremely small margins of eachother.
Get the notes addon. Create a text document on your desktop and copy the information you need. Then paste it to the notes addon that is available in game.
I keep a ton of notes for alts. Stat priority, raid info for a reminder stuff like that.
There’s “Ask Mr Robot” that uses a string to copy/paste between addon and website for optimisation and suggested replacements.
Simulationcraft does this as well.
But I don’t know any addons that make the checks and calculation inside wow client except maybe Pawn.
Looking at the new Release in Curseforge I can see “GearStick” which might give you an indicator of usage percentage for each piece of gear, but not sure how it is relevant to be honest.
Gear drops and is higher ilvl = Sim it although its likely an upgrade due to main stat alone. Exception are like leech pieces if you’re a healer for apparent reasons.
BiS lists only really apply to trinkets, embellishments or weapons/items with effects. Even the BiS lists advocate to sim every piece and only serves as a rough estimate guideline.
I thought that BiS doesn’t exist because of different fights having different movement and target-switch requirements, and also because (at least in 5mans), one does not always have the exact same buffs available, which may skew secondary stat weights.
Maybe one can find a BiS set for Patchwerk assuming all buffs. But it won’t be BiS for every scenario.

Not to mention the olevel of gear most people have access toi, which in and of itself invalidates half the items on most of teh BiS lists from for ex. WoWhead for most players.
Simply because they assume full maxlevel gear, which has hugely different amounts of stats from the 619-626 level the moajority cap out at and therefore items with stats that you “Should” never be chasing become BiS because your 2 mainstats are in teh DR zone.
“Copy Bis List, Copy talent build, Install GSE, profit” is easily the wildest bit of misinformation that many average plavers fall prey to. 
if you really care about bis item you should learn how to “simulationcraft yourself”
all the addons who show you uuuu stonks upgrade 200% are for &^^$g clowns.
because slight shift in your stats and even bis item become not bis

Those that follow bis gear lists dont understand how their toon works.
Less alt-tabbing and more theorycrafting.
