BiS race for Shadowlands?

So what race/spec are you going with for Shadowlands? I’m not that into min-maxing, but I like to have my character reflect the story of the expansion, so I’m kinda torn between Undead and Troll currently, as I’m not sure which will have the focus. I mean, there’s Sylvanas, and there’s Bwonsamdi…

What are you going to be?

you can RP as zandalari and u go after sylvanas after talanji wants the head of the former banshee queen

My primary DK will probably be Unh female undead. Undead are my fav race and I think females look good as well as have very satisfying 2h animations and 2-handers also fit on their back very nicely in my opinion. Probably not a popular choice but I think it’s pretty cool.

Will also keep Mag’har one, they are bit too big for my taste but I really like mine, might make him frost.

Also have one male undead but I am not sure I’m gonna use him too much, I like the dual-wield animations but for how much I like undead they don’t work outside of robes too much for me, personally.

Zandalari is a really cool idea but I find their shoulders way too massive personally.

Race does not really have much of an impact in retail but human and orc always will be best for pvp for pve i am not to sure

Well I’m thinking about maining my Guardian Druid “Bwonsalami”, so I kinda feel like I should stick with Zandalari based on the name.

Wait, can Zandalari be DKs in Shadowlands?

Idk, right now there’s a social pressure to replace Ion Hazzikostas, subsequently that’s what the Shadowlands lore will represent to me. A talentless, inexperienced, unqualified big ego jerk that is gonna make a 3rd bad expansion in a row and doesn’t want to do the right thing and step down as game director.

So, idk? We should all make the same race so our voice can be heard and we can get this little noob to go back to making raids. Any suggestions are welcome.

I guess Trolls for horde and idk fat Kul’Tirans for Alliance? Just brainstorming

yes, all races will be able to be DKs in shadowlands

if u have the pre-order u can have allied races now as DKs

shadowlands seems to reflect all the afterlifes so you could probably just be anything, i mean maybe we will see the old human death knights there.

Tho I am curious to know if staghelm and benedictus are present in shadowlands with a whole redeeming qualities speech or something…

I wasnt playing for 9 years but I have to ask.

How did you got heritage armour on Death Knight? I though you need to level such an character from 1/20 to 100.
Is Death Knight allowed to get it while leveling from 56 to 100?
Or you can unlock heritage armour on one character from given race and use on another?

Also last question: How does Tauren size impacts your vision in PvE and PvP?

  1. For Allied Races, you can get the heritage armor by leveling an allied race DK from 55 to 110. It still makes you eligible.

As for base races, you can get the heritage on any class, provided you are 120 and exalted with your race’s faction. For tauren, you also need to finish the scenario where you save Baine from under Orgrimmar as well, though you can do that step on any race.
