You can’t tell me that this isn’t a know issue with your tech team by now. It’s been going on for 3-4 days straight and it’s clearly because your infrastructure can’t handle this many players. There is a simple solution, open up free character transfers. There’s even a sticky post for free classic character transfers, where this issue was addressed more quickly (probably due to popular steamers having the issue which is bad for PR).

kazzak has basically been unplayable since last day of prepatch
On kazzak it’s 10-40 minutes of black screen after every log in/log off. If you need to send youself something from another character it can take an hour. It’s curious to me how the kazzak/draenor problem was never really put on the table.
Sorry, but it should’ve been long ago when the possibility of free character migration could’ve been put on the table.
LE: Oh, let’s not forget the 10 minute loading screen that follows.
Yes im on Twisting Nether and black loading screen then I can select character and then hanging for ages and then kicked out!

Srsly? Last night i waited 3 hours in queue for Kazzakus so i could play the game. After the wait, ofc i was met by this black frozen screen. so i went to bed and hoped it will be fixed soon. Now i wake up, try to log in , and again this shlt ?
For real, give transfers or fix the server #Angry

Turns out the problem is it’s taking so long for people to zone-in, that they get forcefully DC’d by the server for being afk lol. GG blizz

Sounds very plausible, yet it’s a symptom of something way bigger: Their infrastructure simply can’t handle this much activity. The load needs to be spread, or the servers need to be upgraded (which they won’t because: greedy). So how to spread the load? Well they’ve done so in the past and most recently with wow classic. There’s even a sticky topic on support here… FREE CHARACTER MIGRATION.

This is really frustrating! Trying to play on Kazzak server.
Playing on Twisiting Nether (EU) , same issue here. Long loading times, stuck in character loading, when inside the game the world can kill me and interract with me but i cant interract back. Selling an items can be up to 3-5min delay before action is registered. Moving in the world has 1-3 minutes delay. Completely unplayable at this moment. Just randomly catches up and character is dead.

Same problem here, on Kazzak, works fine for other realms but Kazzak is dead for me

this is completely unacceptable. been trying to enter kazzak for a decade now and still on black character screen. in my case its been more then 2 hrs waiting. open up free character migration immediatly. !!

Same here, can’t login to Twisting nether. Other realms seems to work
