Hey Guys. I got a question according to the spawns on black lotus.
In wow classic few years ago they changed the respawn timer and added locations to the spawn. My question here is: Are they going to take this “feature” in hardcore classic or are they keeping the old “style” of black lotus spawn&locations.
Did they say anything about that?
Oh yes the infamous ingridient for the infamous petrification flask.

You won’t see any… be farmed to hell by bots! 
Ya, this tbh. I imagine the botters will have an even easier time selling their ill-gotten gains on HC servers than on regular servers tbh, cus I bet the pull of being able to save your char via group-leaver teleporting with petri flasks will be huge.
And botters can avoid dying simply by fly-hacking which they’ve been doing on Classic for ages.
Doubt it that lotus will be farmed by bots on hc servers but i could be wrong.
But it doesnt answer my question. I want to know which “black lotus system” they want to bring
I don’t know where I heard it so can’t tell if it is 100% correct. But I have a vague memory that someone at some point asked that question to aggrend and he responded that the updated version of lotus spawns would be the way they were going with on HC realms.

They are taking the new way with levelling (XP rates), so I assume they also chose the easy way with farming and professions. But nothing official out yet.
increased xp rates? did i miss something?
They use the reduced XP needed per level as in SOM, this means around 40% less XP needed.

At least for first two levels is same: 400xp to reach level 2 and 900 Xp to reach level 3. Just checked.
And this also the same numbers Wowpedia tells were in Vanilla.

Black lotus problem is easy to fix. Instead of set respawn timer and set spawns, just make it a random drop from high lvl herbs. The more herbs you farm in lvl 50+ zones the more black lotus you will probably get.
nah, thats not classic style.
The vanilla style back in 2005 was not having bots camping every single spawn either. When players/bots radically change playstyle, sometimes a very small tweak in the game is needed to make the classic more like vanilla, than to keep the exact same ruleset.
thats true yes. But i doubt it that the lotus will be camped by bots. I played classic on full servers and there were no bots (german servers).
But even if there are bots, i doubt it that in HC there will be many.
Thats why i would like to see the lotus like it was in classic with the update
Or remove the bots …
