Black Market (Undercity Plaguebat/ Teldrassil Hippogryph)

Hey i just started playin BFA and after a long break of Wow (because of studying) i missed the bfa pre-event mounts. is it possible to bring the even back as (as timewalk event) or taking the mounts into the black market because the ragnaros mount from the firelands event is also there.

i play undead and would like to have the chance to get this mount^^

i´m on the side of sylvanas and maybe it´s possible to add this mount as reward after other rewards for choosing the side of sylvanas?

would be very nice i hope for the best

greetings Gerrit

As both the Violate Spellwing and the Elderhorn are off the black ah, I highly doubt these two will ever appear.

Well some mounts should be unique like a a pre-event so kinda though luck.

What i do find stupid is them removing the brontosaur.

There really is no reason why they should. :upside_down_face:

Wouldn’t mind seeing them become avail to players who missed the event but it’s highly doubtful they’ll ever be again.

I think every one-off event mount is only available during the event.

strokes Violet Spellwing

because it shows Who did what and when :)) makes things more rare and stops the collection inflation.

if everyone had Mona Lisa portrait at home, it wouldnt be so special would it? :joy:

I still have three soulbound items from the BfA Pre-Launch event. Maybe one day I can sell it to other players.

But this is a lore-based mount, they should be available 24/7.

how come?

how come?

some parts of the lore arent available in game :stuck_out_tongue:

They are based on Teldrassil and Undercity (aka: the official mounts based on the tabards, the backs and overall city theme) and should be available like other town mounts. It doesn’t make sense to remove casual mounts and put them behind a limited event. This was not a smart move from the development team.

On top of that, both mounts are also based on the warfront which will be available all the time. The Teldrassil flying mount accompanies the PVP tiger mount from the nelves as well.

It really made no sense to remove them. Absolute terrible decision.

No you don’t. the plaguebat doesn’t resemble a bat in the slightest. Big disappointment.

I think they don’t want everyone to eventually have it, like the MoP and Wrath mounts.

As I said previously, bump the price up each expansion, dont remove it.

Sure, but I don’t see the harm in that.
Everyone probably has the Albino Drake. But so what? It’s not like everyone is flying around on it, so what does it matter if others have it in their collection? Who gives a hoot about anyone’s mount collection except their own anyway?

I wish I could put mine on the BMAH.

They’ve been careful with the the AH, unless you’re an engineer you still have to go to the Classic towns to use the AH unless you’re one of the wealthy and have the mount.

When’s the last time you used a repair NPC. If you have either the Yak or Mammoth then maybe not often. The mammoth is 10k but 10k is near nothing now. In SL 5 million will be easier and even easier as time goes buy so then more people will have it and in time ‘everyone’ will have it like the Mammoth.

To keep it reasonably exclusive I say bump up the price each expansion.

I’m personally not in favour of making the mounts available again, but IMO the event itself should be made availble to newcomers. It was an integral bit of the lore, and sets up not only the main plot of BfA, but also the Darkshore Warfront and any future events involving Tyrande and the Night Warrior.

There’s also the argument that, while most people playing in BfA know more or less what happened to Teldrassil, future players are gonna be incredibly confused when one of the Capital cities just disappears off the map for no reason.

Major events in the lore shouldn’t ever be tied to time-limited events IMO.

The normal bat design is based on troll lore. If you want to mount a troll-mount as a Forsaken, then just do it.

Just a question. Do you even need but the expansion to be able to play the pre event?
