The most brutal dungeon I have done if you compare with other dungeons. To clear trash for Illysanna Ravencrest is so overtuned especially Risen Archer. What kind of stupid joke way too much to put damage by Risen Archer? It needs to nerf to bottom! Thanks!
Have you tried not standing in the avoidable frontal cone?
Or fearing it.
Or shackling it.
Have you ever considered saying “I / we struggle with this… any tips?” Your default is to cry it needs a nerf. BRH is literally the easiest dungeon in the season. It may not be at super high keys because of surviving the last boss but at 20ish you just need to do some basics right (which is stun knife dances / drink ancient potions etc) and you’re more than likely to chalk it up as a win.

eh the archer is not the problem.
it is arcane blitz that one shots you on tyrannical +18 lol
if one cast goes through, someone is dead. i think that is a little much

From what I understand (correct me if im wrong) its a bit worse. It does tickle damage, even in Fortified. But every time a cast goes off of Arcane Blitz, the mob gains a buff. After 2 or 3 cats in Fortified he begins doing 1M damage and 1-shoting people.
So technically your group had 2-3 chances to interrupt that mob and did not. And it begins 1 shoting people.
Thats what I understand it does atleast.
I haven’t seen you specifically play. But I have seen my fair share of casters standing at max range instead of at melee.
Because if you are at max range, and that archer points at you, the cone is so massive it will kill you.
Sometimes smelling the but of the mobs with the warrior and DH bunch is a legit way to survive.

Mh, yes could be like this. But I just ran the dungeon and someone got deleted by the first cast, so I don’t know. (first pack at after the stairs)
will check for the buff next time to see if it got stacked or something

Yeah, shamans can purge the stacking buff that Risen Arcanists get from Arcane Blitz. I always focus them for that exact reason. As for the archers, just… move? It’s a fairly telegraphed move.
I could recommend an addon like LittleWigs. It calls out important mob abilities by name. That includes dungeon trash.
Well interrupt it its the only one that needs to be interrupted. I mean…

The initial damage prior to being able to react/ fix with ability is pretty rough, esp on fortified weeks!
Well, with those packs you often already need up to 4 hard stops because there are 1~2 archers and 1~2 scouts or whatever does the knife thing. Usually that can already get dicey, but on raging weeks with my only ST soothe (shiv) being on a relatively long CD, it’s not really possible to keep them under control.
Yes moving away is probably the best, but I’ve noticed that:
- sometimes you get hit from the archer frontal even when you’re outranging it
- the frontal is really hard to see
I don’t think I’ve ever really had an issue with the archers, but I can imagine it does have some issues for those who are less experienced in M+.
Well, it’s still possible to mive our of the frontal, believe me, I’ve tried
It was amazing, you should have seen it… by not standing in the really obvious frontal, i didn’t take damage 
Not sure if you’re trying to be funny but I’ll take the bite. Just because it’s possible and not hard to do, doesn’t mean there aren’t issues with it. They could improve visibility and make sure the cone isn’t shorter than its actual range. This would fix most issues imo.
Yeah well… archers are the least of our concerns in that department…
Tons of swirlies are literally invisible if it wasent because of addons honking me every time they happen… .
Blizz is notoriusly famous for: Purple floor, with Purple zones you have to step in, with Purple swirlies you dont have to step in, surrounded by purple light, and purple frontals… plus purple lines, purple adds, purple boss with purple fire… And the loot? Well also purple in colour…
