I’ve been doing it on loop for a little while :wink: Even tried on various realms. Good thing Preach has another video to watch

I find it effing ridiculous that this is happening at all at any time for a company as big as blizzard/activision in a game that has been around for 15 years AND has a monthly fee to cover expenses. It’s embarrassing.

i just got characters loaded, was w8ing for more then 10 mins, but there is another problem after, world is loading forever :smiley:

Luckily for me my characters are split between Anachronos and Kul-Tyras.
I had the Black screen when logging in Kul-Tyras, I switched to Anachronos, my characters there were fine. I than went back to Kul’Tyras, problem solved.

Anachronos/Kul’Tyras/Alonsus are connected together.

But if you have alt characters on other servers try logging there and if your character appears, logg back to your home server.

Trying that now, isnt working lol.

Constant black screen.

Its just strange that, its working fine on the “US” version - they have the same patch as us.

Its also the same patch they earlier placed on PTR - which fixed the “black textures, missing eyes” for alot of us (my girl was effected by this).

So its the same version, same patch, nothings changed (As far as i know) - yet, only EU are effected lol, and whats weirder is, again, only certain people, ive just went and logged into my girls 3 times there, she gets about 2min queue, straight onto char select screen no problem.

Fix 1 problem, create another i guess :stuck_out_tongue:

Got kicked out of the game for a small patch to download and install and now its unplayable as I have ‘black screen’ too - is the patch the problem?

Spot on!

Worked like a charm, after 10min, characters loaded, im in game now, although in game is a bit rough too lol, jittery, laggish.

Been messing with my characters (talents and spells) all day no problem.
Wife wanted to play: black screen. Spent an hour trying to fix. Eventually it just worked.

Logged into my game: black screen

Record profit and all that and can’t manage pre-patch traffic. sigh

Yep the same black screen after waiting to log in. Was working ok around lunch time but now not working.

apparently this new small update that got released recently has ruined character selection page after logging in.

they are not . i had it around 16 , then it didssapeared then there were loggin issues and now back to black screen

Lol :smiley: Sadly, the create new char option is also inactive, I would have loved to check out the new levelling experience while my lvl 50s take a day off.

Finally I know now how Arthas felt in his dying moments. I see only darkness too.
