I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one with this problem, but does anyone know if there’s something I can do except waiting for Blizz to fix this?

I have it too now, wasn’t able to get to it before. Maybe things are “improving”, but yeah, #patchday lol (I’m being sarcastic)
My characters are gone!
Bumping this with the same issue…queue…black screen…relog…queue…black screen…relog… and so on…
Yes, I had this today. I changed realm, and re-loaded my realm again, it seemed to fix it.
However, you may find upon changing realms, to reload your realm, it will come across as no charcters are on that realm. But do not despair! I can assure you, that they are there.

I got to a black screen and just left it for a few minutes before my characters appeared.
No doubt the problem will be “resolved” later tonight when almost no one is playing before magically reappearing at about 3pm tomorrow.

Trying that now, just letting it hang a bit.
EDIT - Doesnt work, automatically “Disconnected from server” and boots you to main login screen after 2-3minutes.
I had this too - instead I’ve gone to watch tv.

just w8 for 10 mins characters will appear
can’t wait for 10 mins as you get DC’d after like 2mins

Characters “wont” appear, as it kicks you out into the main menu login screen “Disconnected from server” after 2minutes of characters not loading.
