Black screen at character select

Am I the only one who logs in and the the screen at character select is black with no characters?

It’s happening with me as well, two attempts at logging in so far.

Damn. Fixed queue in battle.net client - we got queue bug in game server. Fixed - now black screen.

Same issue here, seems totally random. After 5 relog attempts I got in.

Ok it seems theres an update to WoW, and the desktop app isnt seeing it.
Exit Desktop, restart it.

WoW Updated then worked.

after update i i got into realm (not dced instantly) but still black screen without characters

Try to change your directX from the Config file to dx11 :

1.World of warcraft
2.retail
3.WTF
4.Config
5. Find the line that says SET gxApi “D3D12” and switch to “D3D11”

It worked for me earlier (copy-pasted that from an older post), also note that after updating the drivers I didn’t need the switch to x11. Not I just get stutters…

yep Same here…doing a repair/scan. But it no even finding my characters on my realm in the Realm List. Insufficient bandwidth from Blizz servers ? :stuck_out_tongue:
