Blackhand mechanics broken

Blackhand mechanics is still broken - he kicks you back out of the arena and match constantly resets!

Why are you (Blizzard) not capable of fixing issues - Blackhand has been a problem since that raid launched? We are paying you both subscriptions fees and extra for each expansion - fix your the problems!

I encountered this issue in BFA S1 when I was too undergeared to make him go to P3 before the first cast

What you can do is put your character behind one of the platform on the side of the arena instead of staying in the middle. you will get kicked out the ceiling of the platform & he will not reset

That being said with all my alts in 385ish due to benthic I never had any problem meeting the dps check. Even with my alliance 360 BDK alt.

Honestly OP, sounds like you just don’t know mechanics/are unable to just brute force through them with dps. You know you’re not supposed to stand in the middle, right?

Its not a bug op,one of boss mechanic was to kick ppl to balcony so they could kill adds and since u are solo it resets cause boss cant target anyone,to counter that u can:
-burst him
-position yourself near wall with blackhand facing middle(his knockback wont throw u to platform)
-use class with pet

If you can’t one phase him upstairs at this point (lol) just stand underneath the balconies on the second phase so you don’t get knocked onto them. It’s not hard. Good grief.

Maybe all of you should do it on an Alt that is not higher level and not one shot the boss…

If you can enter a raid solo, then IMHO mechanics should not demand that you are more than one. Also, standing under balcony/near wall does not work, boss will kick you through the wall and then reset.

You can enter any raid solo. Should I be able to solo mythic n’zoth? Probably not?

If you’re seriously struggling even on an alt in a raid that is 2 expansions old then you have bigger problems than Blackhand. Especially if the alt is 120, since I was able to solo Blackhand easily in legion even on mythic (mind you, I was 110 back then, not 120!).

Again, trying to make my point - of course you should be able to deal the damage needed to kill the boss and take the hits the boss deal, but you should not having the fight to be canceled because the mechanics are poorly implemented with issues - I would be fine if in this case the boss kicks me in the wall, making me dizzy, and give me massive damage.

But this current state is just bad design, bad coding, and bad testing - and theme we see in both current and old expansions…
