Bland music in Dragonflight?

Not sure about Stormsong Valley but yeah nothing has topped the beloved Boralus, Freehold and Tirigarde sound themes.

Quite the opposite for me. A beautiful thematic music will add so much to a zone.

Agree 100%, I even checked entire soundtrack on youtube (the one in official wow channel). It’s nice, but not great, nothing to stay in your head for days. And most important, does not give chills!

The problem has become worse ever since Russel Brower and Neal Acree stopped working on Warcraft music. I’m not sure what other changes they brought, but IMO the era of epic WoW music ended with Battle for Azeroth.

The music of Shadowlands is horrible - just bland ambients. Some people compared it to the BC music, but even BC ambients were catchy. Now, years later, I don’t remember anything except for certain Ardenweald and Oribos tunes and I don’t hum them.

The Dragonflight music is much better, and there are some catchy tunes like those bagpipes in Azure Span. At least something I can hum, but compared to old expansions it’s still subpar.

IMO WOD, Legion and BFA was the peak, which is why even the Dragonflight music feels extremely bland and even bad.

Nah I love it. Especially the gnoll music and the general Grizzly Hills/Coldarra vibes of Azure Span.

I like the music. Very pleasant and relaxing.
