Noticed while playing my mage (with Shimmer talented) one middle-mouse button click will end up casting blink twice and eating up the 2 charges involuntarily, with a very small delay. Furthermore, changing the keybinding to any key on my keyboard also ends up double casting Blink so I can be sure it is not a faulty mouse.
Does anyone else experience this issue?
I did when I wasn’t used to shimmer and pressed my keybind a bit to fast.
I was used to panic pressing my Heroic Leap button, but Shimmer’s cast is way faster, this caused me to double blink all the time.
Issue got fixed when I chilled down with the spamming.
I have mine bound to G btw.
Yeah I’m not simply spamming the button and failing to notice, lol. I can replicate this bug just standing around in Stormwind.
What if you try this macro.

/cast [mod] shimmer
/castsequence reset=1 shimmer,_
Quick google, Idk if it actually works.
I am at work so can’t test it myself, however I realise there are situations where you actually want to double blink and this macro prevents a 2nd blink untill it resets 1 sec after.
EDIT:
I editted the macro with a Modifier.
If you press it once It will blink once, it you hold it down it will use both blinks.

Hey, I was having the same issue, not with my other mage tho, so I checked and then tried to UNLEARN the Arcane Momentum technique as it was the only difference between them and it seems it got the problem fixed so I suggest trying to unlearn that.
