Hello, everyone.

ROFL company
it happened to me, took me 10 hours ! to get out of 1600 rating
each win was +6 or + 10
for some reason its stops giving you rating at 1500 - 1600
my MMR is now 2.2k and ive stopped queuing now i got 1800 rating
This is of course a complete failure of blizzard, I understand when you have a win rate of ~50% and then you get little CR.
But when the winrate is 85%+ you should fly upward like a Boeing.
For example, in League Of Legends with a Winrate of 60%, you already receive significantly more than they take off for you, and so on until your winrate is 50%.
you’re still in placements. after around 20-25 games the MMR stops being funky and you get dropped into 2k mmr. after that its a free ride to 2400+ MMR
I could understand this if my MMR was higher than CR.
But the situation is completely mirrored, my CR is higher than MMR, provided that the win rate is currently 85%.
The last 3-4 games the team’s MMR is just a random number between 1200 and 1500, although logically it should increase every game because I haven’t loses in a long time.
Are you the OP?
I think you should just play like 10 more games. Think of it this way: In most games during placements you aren’t given a rank. You simply know the MMR you’re playing at. WoW is different and unusual in that it starts off with giving you rating for your very first game (if its a win.)
Overwatch doesn’t do this. SC2 didn’t do this. CSGO doesn’t do this. I don’t play League, but i’m guessing you aren’t given a rank on your first game there, either?
Simply pretend you don’t have a rating at all for your first 20 or so games, because you essentially don’t. You are handed 1500 rating for free and then after that if you’re still in placements you will bounce around from 1500-1600 until placements end and you’re given ‘real’ games that actually give you rating… assuming you haven’t lost a bunch, which you haven’t.
It will feel like you’re spinning your wheels in the mud for another 8 or so games, then you’ll be fine.
Or are you saying that you need to play 25 games to suddenly skyrocket?
I’m just afraid that if I lose, an uncontrollable fall will begin)
Your words inspire hope! I’ll test this theory
I’m saying placements in WoW are like peeling back the skin and being able to see whats going on and realising it makes absolutely zero sense and the game is throwing random games at you to try and figure out if you’re good, bad, very good, very bad, or whatever. In most games you aren’t shown this and are just thrown into games and your ranking is ‘null’ until a magical number of games is played (usually 10) and then you’re dropped at gold or silver or diamond or plat or whatever.
It will stabilise after 20-25 games.
In LOL it’s just a slightly different scheme, the first 10 games have a VERY influence on where you end up, and after 10 games the growth slows down a lot and you start to level off.
But if you have a win rate of more than 60%, then you can fly through entire divisions because the game encourages you to play at your level.
I have 46 games played. my first 20-25 were low MMR (1400-1800) and it seemed very random. I even lost rating from a few losses. Then suddenly I finished the magical placement game number (which most people think is between 20-25) and I was placed at 1900 MMR.
After that I dropped 50 MMR on losses, gained 50 on wins. consecutive wins/losses increased MMR jumps or dips. I’m now 46 games in and my last win was at 2850 MMR. 10 games ago my MMR was 2350. 20 games ago it was 1862.
You’ll be fine imo just focus on the gameplay and you’ll get your goal rating.
I hope so, thanks for the adequate opinion!
I’ll go see what happens
Good luck!
You don’t understand how MMR works! It’s a you bad player! Blizzard do not make a sh…t! What do you expect ha? Play with PvP people, got 2400 for a one week? No brother! It’s not the Blizzard way ^^
I had the same issue, and after starts a huge mmr pit and numbers of loses just grow and I stuck at 1400 and 1500 with alt. That’s it. You’ll be the same if some accident luck do not put you with good teams several (7-10) times in a row and your win rate will keep 80%+
Where did you get this information about 20-25 games? I’ve played with my fresh alt 50 games, and MMR after each game random, 1400, 1500, 2000, but for whole team. M8, this is theory, not truth.
Mini-Update (17 win, 3 loses - total 20 games) - last 2 games i have ~1650 MMR team.
My CR now 1571
I’m no longer the highest rated on the team, now I’m almost at the bottom
Game 21 start - 1970 MMR WHAT?
Game 21 win - +21 raiting
Game 22 start - 2132 MMR HAHAHAH (CR 1593)
Game 22 win - +23 raiting
Game 23 start - 2268 MMR (CR 1616)
Game 23 lose - (-0 raiting rofl)
Game 24 start - 2125 MMR (CR 1616)
Game 24 lose - (-0 raiting)
Ok i’m done for today, 19 win, 5 loses (24 total game) CR still 1616
After 20-25 games the MMR is allowed to actually move, before that its stuck at 1300-1600 even if you go 20 wins ina row
Once again, no. Even if your MMR 2000 next game before match shows 1600 for example. Or I miss something or blizzard somewhere explain that? Put some documentation, guides? No. It seems all of it guess.
Keep playing, seriously. Ur 13 games in only man…
U are definitely no longer in placement games mate, and some team MMR variety is completely normal
