Blitz has a really obnoxious side that needs adressing

1st is the way some classes are:

  • MW Monks, can Cross the whole map a very significent portion of the map in WSG, Twin Peaks while carrying the flag along with Ring of Peace being insanely broken, combine all of that with the lightning channel that knocks back and you can just climb on top of the base and be untouchable. Once you see enemy flag carry exhausted and stacked u can just go down and take turns on Ring Of Peace.(It would a be lot nicer if knockback DR wasnt so biased towards Monks but i digres) + aoe stun is op as a flag carry.
  • Similar point for Evokers. Immunity + ability to soar til the center of the map is just pure advantage.
  • Rogues being able to COS into cap , Bomb into cap, Kidney into Cap, Blind into Cap, Sap into Cap is such a design flaw. Capping flags in Gilneas, AB, Deepwind Gorge should return being 6 seconds. There was no reason what so ever to make it 4.
  • Tanks doing DPS levels of damage while being insanely tanky is just an absurd reality that going against any conceptual thought.
    -Hunters, rogues and Devokers just have … everything. Playing these classes literally feels like cheating in RBGs.
  • Mobility classes suffer under the foot of the mount speed. Mount speed completely diminishes mobilities importance.
  1. The battleground querks and rules:
  • WSG & Peaks is far the least enjoyable experiences of all of the other maps by far, though my expectations were the oposite. Maybe thats my biased opinion, maybe it all is, let me know but in short the winner is dictated by the team that got blessed with a MW monk that decided to carry the flag. Bonus certainty if its more than 1. Same for Evoker
  • Kotmogu needs an extra objective its too blank and too ooga booga but aside from that its the only BG where the singular problem is that the respown timer is too short. And thats only bad because its in combination with the crazy mount speed.
  • AB is my favourite one with 2 issues flag cap casting bar thingie is too quick (4 seconds, while previously it was 6, and i adressed this issue above) and another thing thats too short :^) is the flag cycle, id rather have the flags give less points but remain longer so you got time to actually execute a strategy rather than depend on the luck of ninja caps alone.
    Oh, btw this is the only BG where mount speed seems ok.
  • Deepwind Gorge suffers the same issues AB does but also these BUFFS are way too many, everywhere + mount speed is problematic, bases are already too many but are very close near each other.
  • Deephaul Ravioli or whatever its called its made for dentists to lash their frustrations for smelling bad breath all day everyday and not being able to affort vocation days.
    Its just so mindless and boring, also the Berserk buff is truly out of place. Overall its too concentrated in the middle but this doesnt simply go for the Blitz version of it obviously.
    -EOTS - just enable all 4 bases already… its a pure joke and a shadow of itself.
  1. The new added BUFFs shouldnt be always up. Maybe you can stealth for this base- maybe the buff is spowned somewhere else, maybe not at all.

MW auto wins WSG and TP if the other team doesn’t have a Monk. Bonus points if the MW has a DK or two to perma slow the enemy flag carrier.

Easy fix :

1- Remove the use of ports (monk/lock) when FC
2- Nerf significantly the distance of monk rolls when FC
3- Capping bases should be 6s, not less.

And bim : Blitz become playable again. Because having a Hmonk carrying a flag when the other team doesn’t have one is a near 99% win guaranteed…
Loosing 4x in a row in a flag map where the other team has 2 Hmonks and we have a palaheal/Dpriest, @ 2k7 MMR…
This is just frustrating… REALLY :slight_smile:
