Went 29 - 1 with a friend in the placements and got placed on 1700mmr. How can people be 2800mmr?

But on the topic I had games where I WON at 2600 mmr and my next game was 2k, so yeah sometimes it can be wierd. Just queue up.
This is a broken MMR. You see, BLIZZARD developers can’t in math, but they are creative! They didn’t change it since RBG was released. And here is a very hard to climb 0-1600 and pretty easy 1600-1800, 1800-2000, etc… Also losing 0-1600 is very painful.
Your first 20-30 games are placement and you are hard capped mmr wise.
Once you play out your placement games your MMR will instantly jump up depending on your winrate.
Well I did that and my mmr didn’t jump up, unless there are even more than 30 placements?
The mmr seems a bit bugged, or at least inconsistent.
The amount of games you need to clear before your MMR starts to climb varies wildly, and it feels like if you just never lose at the 1400 purgatory, the game won’t let you leave.
What seemed to clear that was to not play for a day or 2. Or maybe it was the weekly reset.
Also if you got to 1700, I think that indicates you just got past the “never climb”-period. I think if you win your game in 1700, you’ll find yourself at 1900-2000 in the next one, then at 2100-2200, and so on.
Your character’s MMR in general doesn’t influence matchmaking that much since the system tries to pair 16 people together as fairly as possible (mmr wise only) and can sometimes be inconsistent (wildly swinging between 1800-2800) as the poster above noted. (It’s best to avoid prime time if you are low rated and desire high mmr, as you are more likely to match into high rated teams in need of a lower rated buddy to match them fairly against opponents!)
The placements games are between 25-35 games from my experience on 3 characters, I cannot help with more specifics than this.
Explain this: my warrior jump to 1500+ very easily and go buf more yesterday. Because for win I receive for lose lose.
But with my Druid situation different, I have rating UNCHANGED and lose -15 or so… (Blitz. 2 wins in a row Rating UNCHANGED, lose and -15)
How it works? Which 30 games? With druid I played more than 100.
I think you are mistaken. No 25-30 games. It’s just broken system at all 
I play rated always because of saddle and gear, that’s it. Epic BG’s and BG’s and random arenas gives much more fun and less toxicity. But… still wanna mounts.
At 1.5cr i was getting 2.4 mmr, at 1.8cr im getting 1.6mmr (that was today)
