didn’t really believe in this until i had a lose streak around 1800 and now i get 0 rating for wins but still lose 9-12 when i lose.
i can see why queue times are so long xD

on point ! big slot machine. so i have played a lot - went 2500 CR at start of season then dropped to 2000 and now im again at 2500. you can ALWAYS see the result of games at least until 2400 just looking at the start CR distribution in teams. the team with more high CR 90% + more of the times WIN. yeah there are ocassional suprises - VERY LOW chances ! they should just remove dual Q and remove/remake MMR system from blitz. until then is just VEGAS !
IMO from 300+ games played and observed : they should form teams based on CR not MMR if they want a balanced chances of most games.
They need to change that next season. Wins should always give rating no matter the lose streak or MMR, even if it’s only like 3-6 rating. I was at 1780, and excited because I was close to getting the elite set, my goal. Then I lost 12 games in a row, losing almost 300 rating and bricking my MMR. Even when I win twice in a row I get 0 rating, but still lose 10-15 with every loss. I need to have a big and lucky win streak to fix it.
If they don’t do any changes and improvements, then Blitz is going to have fewer players next season. I expect players to shift back to shuffle. It’s easier to carry 2 random players in shuffle, then carrying 7 in Blitz. As has been said many times before, Blitz is a casino, a coin flip whether you win or lose. The maps and team compositions make a lot of RNG if you’re gonna win or lose. Enemy team has 2 druids and 2 rogues on a base map? You’re pretty screwed.
I also think duo queue should be removed. It’s called SOLO for a reason. Duo queue just makes it easier for people for boost and synchronize win trading.
let’s be honest. You’re not carrying anyone in blitz, solo shuffle or 3s.
