Has anyone else made it beyond 1600 yet? Been here for what feels like ages now with tiny tiny increments in CR for each win.
How long were you stuck here for in Blitz?

Yes. I hit 1800 on my warrior, but now… It’s impossible to win anything, when i try to push it on my paladin. Hit 1612, then 8 games in a row defeat…I have no idea what’s happening with ppl…

Near impossible. Wen’t to about 1650 and have been a jojo since. All depends on the comp and if people play objectives. If you got a carry the flag and the enemy has a monk…its insta loss.

won 3x this week against monk fcs without a monk of our own at 2300+ MMR.
literally just follow them all game like princess diana paparazzi and you have a good chance of winning.

They have 0 use and are the gatekeepers of low rating which my alt had to endure once …

Keep losing like 11 to 19 and gaining 5… so slow.

The whole rating system is just broken.
I mean they’re ok at stopping people capping flags but other than that, useless.

If you are not top player and do not queue duo – almost no chances… 3rd week of season.
My fury warrior have 84 played and 37 wins win rate ~44%, stuck at 1600.
My feral druid have 233 played and 87 wins win, win rate ~38% stuck at 1500 (now even dropped to 1425)
I am pretty frustrated because of it. And people will say to you in this forum that this is your fault, you do m=not make impact to your team, you can’t play, you do not know your class, etc.
But the truth is Blizzard devs (i mean everyone, managers, game designers and coders) or really low quality or just from another world. Nobody understand how mmr:cr works for blitz.
I just quit from project, will play a bit more because still have sub, but… maybe next season, I don’t know.
According to your messages you are top player in EU. WOW! Glad for you, really. But which percent of PvPers so good as you? Because you really superman of Azeroth m8!
Just lose 5 games and from 1567 dropped to 1425. So… chill m8. Blizzard makes some shöt again

I made it on two characters hunter (2.1K) and warlock (1.8). I was stuck on low mmr for couple days, once I realized I need to do some improvements with addons, macros and mentality.

I realize the same, and improve myself a lot, I really useful on battlefield, but still stuck. You cannot control it just mentally and improving yourself, luck very important factor.
Of course the luck is part of the game in real life or wow, but it doesn’t mean that I’m so lucky or somebody else not. If you’re prepared for certain conditions or situations in game, luck it’s just a booster.
I remember that we got a terrible comp vs enemy, and ppl know that from beginning and we spoke about it in chat, and we know that we need to outplay or outsmart them in order to win. We were faster and clearly motivated to win vs enemy and we did it.
I’ve played recently on my warlock and it was a clear difference from my hunter games, that people are slower and you can hard carry the game via strategy, skill or communication (take a leader role or main communicator). On blitz communication is key.

Do you play the solo shuffle or arena in general to increase your personal skill and understanding of game? Do you have a focus macros and macros for healers as well? What about the addons (battleground targets and reporter - mandatory ones)? How many kicks do you have as an average? There are plenty of factors which you can improve. I’m not a gladiator, but I want to become one day, once I would be good enough.
Managed to get 1830 on warlock and 1750 on mage during the first week, since then I rather do a different spec then ruin it all. Doing warlock as a destro and it is just hell.
I am at similar place. I have reached 1750 rating in first week of the season and when losing streak happened. Now I am at 1400 rating which is not representative of my past RBG exp. Feels too much scuffed or rng at the moment. Doesn’t even matter how hard I tryhard we still lose. That is why I prefer arenas where you can actually solo carry yourself.

None of the above, in fact first time taking PVP seriously, and yet I got 1.8 on both characters.

He will blame everyone and MMR system, but not himself. Ignore.
With tank took me roughly a week, and over 130 rounds to get 1.8, with ele shaman got in 40 ish rounds, with enh shaman was hard stuck in 1.6 with over 130 rounds played.

You need a win streak that raises your MMR above your CR. When that happens you stop losing rating and will gain a lot from wins. Just don’t lose too much.

Yes, I use these only two add-ons, macro… yes, kicks usually by cd’s cyclone not, sometimes I am interrupted.

You are really lucky if your games are 50-50%. I am getting like 2-6 ratio.
