Creating threads like this you getting a risk, because here will come a lot of people who will says that you should play better! That is all your fault. In fact, many people stucks at 1300/1400/1500/1600/1600/1800… etc… Why? Because you expect that winning streak helps but no. It doesn’t. MMR and CR ok, it’s just your fault because you do not enough commit to the match, do not motivate or carry your team, you do not use macro, and you just a bad PvPer 
im not a top player EU. im only 2600-2800 MMR and im playing a mid tier spec and i’ve never been over 2450 rating in any bracket and my highest rating was healing in 2s in Legion. yet I still win games against MW monks on flag cap maps because I don’t fill the chat with “mw monk lol gg” the millisecond i zone in. i’ve had to tell 4 teams now to stop yapping non-stop about MW monk and play the game and ALL 4 of those games we ended up winning - my most recent win against a MW monk fc was 2668 MMR against Bankmw.
how did we do it? by playing the game. 
- our DK kept him locked down near our flag room which gave the rest of us time to catch him near the river.
- he had used so much mobility trying to escape the DK that it allowed myself with the barbarian fury warrior talent and our havoc DH to run him down and catch him near his flag room and blow him up.
- his second healer was a holy paladin, which we abused by keeping him locked down far away from him, making him choose between staying near his hpala and living, or trying to get to his flag room and abuse his teleport.
in the end they ended up capping 2 flags quickly before we adapted and capped 3 of our own. our FC was a prevoker and our second healer was another prevoker.

You are capable to understand things no? So. Yesterday was 4 games win in a row, I gain rating, lose 1 lose more than gain. So… I am puzzled? 
what you try to tell me? I already agreed that I am a bad player, ok, how this fact change these boolshot 4 wins and next lose and you LOSE more than you gain for these 4 wins?
Let’s assume that you right, and I am bad, worst player, ok? But Win streak?! So… What’s do next? Go Arena? I do not fun if it. Or arena? Because why you should play in game which I pay for but in some kind of a weird way?) stop. Do not tell anything, I’ll be agree with you.

are you? you keep telling me and others with a certainty that:
- no one can climb without duoing with a MW monk
- no one can beat a MW monk FC
- no one can climb unless they get lucky
and when anyone tries to correct you using raw stats, logic or their own personal experiences, you tell them they’re wrong, that they need to provide proof (which you then ignore), or just call them a gladiator and say they’re toxic.
Never says “no one can” – I say this is a problem with unfair MMR:CR M8, you can’t read? You wanna that I say something insulting to you? Relax m8. Go and be happy with you supremacy over me. I’ll go spend my money to another project.

The problem is that in another projects it can be the same.
Only 1v1 games can have fair rating system, team games suck and always will.

How are you this lucky to be in teams with functioning brains? What times of the day do you play? Is it something to do with being alliance and having better racials? You find queues faster? What’s going on that you can climb so fast and I’m losing more rating than I gain.
As in, I win 3 or 4 games, but 1 loss puts me back by 2 or 3 wins. It’s driving me mad.

I am not lucky - i just maximize my resources:
- I duo queue to add 1 more untiltable, non-AFK, non-primate, non-griefer to my team
- I watch other people play my spec in Blitz and see what works for them. I listen to the opinions of top players about what I should be doing and try to apply it as best as I can
- I tell people to not tilt and relax when we’re down 1 or 2 flags (won from 2 flags down multiple times in WSG/TP)
- I don’t let it get to me when I lose a game in the starting room (2 ret paladins vs 4 aff locks on deephaul ravine)
- I gear my character to the teeth before I queue and enchant everything
I still get dc’ers. I still get people who don’t know what a flag is. I still get people who run to mage tower at the start of EoTS. I still get flagcels in EoTS. I still get FCs that can’t escape 1 warlock. I still get rogues that never press sap.
Everyone gets this players. I just be realistic - some games are unwinnable, some games are easy wins. I take the easy wins, I don’t let the unwinnable games get to me, and I focus all of my attention and sweat into the games in the middle that can go either way.
They have a MW monk FC and we don’t? “GG its over!” - wrong. We have 2 DKs. Have the 2 DKs sit on the monk all game - even if they die over and over and even if they do zero damage and never kill him. Type this plan into chat. Ask people what the plan is if you don’t know. Form one if no one says anything. One bad plan is better than no plan.
This is just MMR vs rating. Your MMR is lower than your rating because you lost a lot. Focus on why you’re losing, not your rating or MMR. Try hard constantly. There are tons of tiny things you can do to improve your winrate.
As an example - I was in a game last night against this guy:
as you can imagine, hes a tiny bit better than me. He is always going to be better than me in that game if left alone and i’m also left alone. so what do I do? I follow him like a lost puppy and make sure he can’t do anything. I save all my burst for him. I keep him perma slowed and CC’d and try to make him use his defensives and burst CDs on me just to kill me and get rid of me. Now he doesn’t have them and can’t kill our FC.
There is always something you can be doing better. Literally every game. If all you’re doing is tunneling damage and maybe throwing some CC on healers - that isn’t enough. You need to play like a blood DK or sub rogue. Be as annoying as possible and forget about your damage - its useless on flag maps and node capture maps.

Hang on a sec… How did you even know you was against someone like this to begin with?
As in, you’re in the lobby waiting for the gates to open and somehow you know you’re against someone better than you and that you need to focus him down with every annoying mechanic you have?
At most I just know to focus monks in flag matches and rogues in base matches if there are any and anti-cap WW or BS to let others cap off-bases.
BattlegroundEnemies addon shows you the enemy characters on a neat list on your screen like this. I just click everyone and see if I recognise anyone.
WoW is a big game, but it has a massive amount of regulars. I see people in BGs regularly that I saw back in Cataclysm. I recognise them. As for this particular guy - hes hard to miss if you look at leaderboards. Hes consistently in the top 10 of survival hunters. Same for this guy - I zoned in and instantly recognised him, because an hour earlier I was copying his talents, embellishments and enchants for my sub rogue alt.
Generally there is 1-2 players in every match that look like they know what they’re doing. Find them and make their life miserable in any way you can and you improve your chances of winning.
Its also class based. For example - is an enh shaman going to do much? Probably not. But that DK they have? He could single handedly win them the game if he gets to your FC. So focus him. Or their rogue keeps annoying your healers? Nuke him so he has to use his vanishes and cloak of shadows so that he doesn’t have it later on and your healer can now CC him and get away.

I think that’s a good point. As a warlock I find myself afflicted with warrior and demonhunter shaped tumors that will just not leave me alone the entire BG.

I don’t play lock myself but yes if you let a lock cast you just lose most of the time. You may not kill anyone in this scenario but if you can keep 2+ people focusing you at all times, well now your team is 7v6. As a warrior i’m often the focus target in fights so instead of just trying to brute force my way through it and pretend they aren’t there, I let them chase me around and try to kill me - meanwhile my hunters are standing shooting them for free and my feral never has to go bear and can giga pump.
Always remember that damage basically never matters unless its something like Deephaul Ravine ,and if you happen to find yourself the designated ‘everyone train this guy’ target - your goal is no longer to do objectives or get kills - its to stay alive as long as humanly possible and be as hard to kill as humanly possible so that they waste time training you. If a team decides you cant play the game, you can’t and thats just something you gotta accept, but it now means your other 7 guys can play the game uninterrupted for infinite value.

There was no Blitz when i had my first 2.4.
also i was 2.2 10v10 during shadowlands almost every season fighting against r1s while leading.
My first 2.6 was during wrath in 2v2.
My second 2.6 was now during Blitz.
However my 2.4 was during dragonflight shuffle 2x times.
People clearly got issues with monks being able to abuse the terrain so much along with the multi teleport thingy.
So nonody wants to or will accept your argument about that one time at 1.8 rating you played against R1 MW monk.
Even if this is true, he was probably tired of grinding and half asleep.
Knowing you , though, its a lie.

I guess it’s easier said than done. I try my best to stall people and bait them away from objectives knowing they can’t stand letting me play the game for 1 minute.
But I can’t queue with a healer so I don’t have that advantage. I have been trying to get plans going but most of the time people are just silent. So then I’m left to go with wherever the group is since I’m just a backseat dot spreader and opportunist nuke.
The times I’ve tried to do things like get a flag haven’t paid off well at all. No backup, no heals and nobody reading chat. I get orbs, fight in carts and cap plenty of bases though atleast.
I’m just having a rough time making any gains atm. My win rate is less than 40% rn. I keep going from 1680 to 1620 and back.
I probably need to dedicate two full days, during daytime, to play just blitz next week I think. I’m not happy about the affliction nerfs at all though.
This made me absolutely seethe yesterday. I couldn’t do a thing to keep up with the monk, my slows didn’t affect him, he was just simply immune to any of my curses. He teleported multiple times and capped the flag right at the last moment when I thought I had him. This guy was just unbelievably broken. Why don’t the monks on my team play like this? Monks on opposite teams always dive across the entire map with ease and use that teleport thing while carrying the flags. It’s just broken. Why can’t I use demonic gateway while carrying the flag? They can literally FLY across the map with the flag. Why can’t I???
I think it’d be better if nobody could.

You can try another class and spec, sometimes the class you’re currently playing is not for you. What I mean that your playstyle might be different (deffensive, aggresive, hard casting or dot orientied). I changed the class from wl to hunter and I’m blasting now. It feels so good and smooth. You might try as well.
Also don’t be frustrated by losses or what people are saying. Just try to improve your own gameplay.
Don’t forget that people are playing pvp only more that you might think. But it doesn’t mean that you can’t climb the ladder and beat them.
Spend more time playing the game rather then speaking on forum. Spend your time wisely. I would advice to check class related guides from youtube or Skillcapped. It helped me a lot.

The point is that I don’t want play other class. I going to website, see game description, playable races, classes, etc… it means “playable” right? And I do not care about rating that much, if honestly. I care that I lose too much games because of rating. Because many players join blitz and don’t understand why. And I can’t go out from this hell because of fokin MMR which works weird even to compare with SL.
Sorry m8, change class stupid idea by design for me, improvements – yes, I improve myself constantly.
