Huh? What’s the point in having mana if it’s impossible to run out of it. It’s a resource.
Current class design is mash 123 as fast as possible for highest dps. Mana doesn’t fit in with current ranged dps class design, only with healers. Mana isn’t something cool, it’s just annoying for range dps. Hence why they added sh!t like soulshards etc.
I’ve been maining demonology and I’ve never found myself running low on mana? The only skill which drains your mana is drain life and the mana cost is there across all specializations in order to stop warlocks from drain tanking.
What are you talking about? life tap isn’t in the game anymore how is it reasonable that a ranged dps class runs out of mana with no control over it? they acknowledged this with the destro / affliction mana cost reduction but seemed to forget demo exists as a spec.
Honestly wonder what their thought process is here, do they not want people playing the spec in raids?
And regarding Traut’s comment, your filler spells cost a lot of mana with the amount of haste we have. I’m only running 5 expedients and still going oom by the 7 minute mark.
