Recently feels like SoD is run by a headless chicken.
- Bots are again dictating prices on AH; farming anything is pointless. Prices of some mats fell by 50%
- GDKP is gone; once you get your gear there is no reason to run it anymore. I’m missing 3 pieces that are minor upgrades. I’m ready to stop running raids as it costs gold that is harder and harder to get
- PvP is a joke; AB rep can be farmed from STV. WPvP is the bottom of a sewer level.
If I can’t make reasonable gold from farming, don’t see a point in raiding, and do not feel like participating in dogcrap PvP, I don’t see any more reasons to play this game. Ye, cool we got a nice EXP and gold buff for leveling but leveling is like a minor part of WoW, specifically on SoD with a level cap.
I had a lot of fun so far, but I feel like we are going down now.

I agree with everything except the gdkp stuff, gdkp is the biggest poison of this game.

I guess as a minority I kind of agree. At this point GDKP would be nice BUT RMT is the issue with GDKP and the ban remove many red flags that only procs ON RMT (amount of gold trade).
The number of bots is a joke, really makes things weirds and reduce the will to farm anything to make gold.
Blizzard said “you’ll stay poor” and I will I guess

We have one of these “GDKP is the only way to play the game” threads every day. Not really much left to say about it that hasn’t been said countless times before.

Blizzards policy with bots and ban waves is terrible to begin with, any GM from 2004 could easily ban more than their banwaves could ever do. Bots literally just flex on Blizzard employees and laugh at them.
This is why bots exist to begin with, they made the right choice by banning GDKPs to make it easier to detect RMT users. GDKPs are incredibly toxic and manipulate people, scam etc. Good riddance to that kind of clownfiesta.
STV still sucks tbh
- there’s no way to proper buff up after resetting
- pally/warlock mounts don’t work
- AOE grinding altars is still a thing
AB is filled with premades of 3x5grps and is an easy avoid for any sane person.
WPvP is literally just
- Balance druids that never die to anything unless you can lock em down proper with 5 people
- Rogues Mutilate BS
- Enhance Shaman > Ret/Tank Paladin literally in any way
- Warlocks Metaform vs Melee/Physical DPS
And all that crap blizz has talked about not worrying about racials still hasn’t happened at all. PvP racials literally go in favor of horde, priest class racials are literally better for horde, just to name the most obvious offenders.
It is literally not even getting tested with PTRs and people wonder why certain classes are broken. Even a monkey could figure out that Blizz is incompetent to fix their own game. Things like melee hunter should have never existed, especially when they are the best melee without any utility.

Leveling is THE IMPORTANT part of classic. But you retail players took over the game and destroyed the community with your “gogogogo melee spell cleave min max rush or you are out” mentality. That is the only truth. You wanted to destroy WOW, here you go. Now see yourself with a awful community where no one cares about you or anyone else so have fun playing a bad game. I cancelled my sub already, im to old for this.
I agree with your sentiment on PvP, but i can’t relate to the AH pricing. Some items, especially equipment is ridiculously overpriced, 9g for one Robe of Arcana is just a bad joke at this point in the game.
If you dont have fun raiding, stop it. Gold isent hard to get by, fishing makes you alot of gold for example. Stop complaining about GDKP is gone, if you cant earn money without it, thats a you problem.
