Pretty please ?
Blizzard said in the past that they wanted old legendary weapons (Thori'Dal, Warglaives of Azzinoth, etc...) to remain "exclusive". Now, this statement does not make sense anymore, since we have an updated version of Sulfuras from the Firelands raid, rogues have access to an updated version of Thunderfury and demon hunters can simply transmog Warglaives of Azzinoth.
What about the rest of the old legendaries ? Thori'dal, Val'anyr, Shadowmourne, Dragonwrath... Please let those who obtained these weapons transmog them.
Make us transmog fanatics happy :')
while were at it, give legendary cloaks their wing visuals when transmogged

Dont know if necro or not, as im not familier on how many days that would consider necro, but i do it anyways. I guess it be fitting since it is about Wrath of The Lich King Legendary weapon, wich in this case is Shadowmourne.
I was in the process of getting that wepaon for transmog, as i just got Shadow's Edge, but this morning a friend of mine said that only Shadow's Edge is able for transmog, not Shadowmourne.
I really hope that in the future it gets transmogable, cause otherwise that be unfair if only the Edgelor...eh i mean Demon Hunters get their legendary weapon transmogable.

I've never been able to understand the logic behind the weapons remaining "exclusive", when exclusive means nobody will ever wear them again because you can't mog into them.
So yes please, let us transmog into legendaries.

They are still obtainable, so they aren't really exclusive either. It's pointless not to allow them for transmog, right now all they are good for is gathering dust in the bank. Allowing them to be transmogged would actually spark the interest of more and more players since they'll be valuable again, which in turn will make more players to spend more time in game and farm them in the content they drop from.
Legendary items, as well as grey items, should be allowed for transmog.
And delete wand and fist weapon restriction for the love of anything that’s warcraft
Only way I can see older Legendary Weapons being used for Transmog is if it's restricted to the character that got it... example: my Warrior has both Warglaives, but my DH cannot use them for Transmog unless he loots them (originals or TW version) himself.
To me, having the Weapons is enough of a feat to achieve... I don't care what I do with them after that.

Does that limit to only the monks or, will my warrior for example be able to wield fist weapons in term of transmog? Cause that be rad considering how many cool fist weapons there are.
Dunno, yet... they just said it's "set to be lifted"... and yes, it would be a welcome change to do a "Darius Crowley", at last.09/11/2018 14:23Posted by NinniiDoes that limit to only the monks or, will my warrior for example be able to wield fist weapons in term of transmog? Oh, wait... that would mean the return of SMF - there was no mention of that.
Work on it being for Agility Classes only - more than that will be a bonus.
EDIT:
Blizzcon; WoW Q&A - 34:10 for what Ion said, so I don't get canned for getting it wrong.

Why though? Having such restriction would completely have beating the purpose of allowing them for transmog. Transmog appearances are meant to be account wide, so if you have Shadowmourne on your dwarf warrior, you should be able to use it on your draenei paladin or tauren death knight too.
Even if you loot both warglaives on your DH, you probably still wouldn't be using them due to them being several times weaker than your current weapons. Which is why people who are asking for them to be allowed for transmog.
By the logic I used, in what you quoted; if my DH has looted the Warglaives, he get to use the for transmog... but not because my Warrior did.09/11/2018 15:02Posted by SavorenEven if you loot both warglaives on your DH, you probably still wouldn't be using them due to them being several times weaker than your current weapons. I get that many may want all their Plate wearers to be able to use Shadowmourne, so - as with the Warglaive example, above - if they earn/loot it (not like it's that hard to get, for most), they get to 'mog it.
By the same logic, I don't want my Hunter to be able to transmog to Thori'dal, just because my DK has it (I know; can't use it)... I'd rather my Hunter looted it to be able to transmog to it.

If you have both warglaives on your warrior, that means you have the "warglaives of azzinoth" feat of strenght achievement. When you have that, all you need to do is the TW black temple and you'll get the "I'll hold these for you until you get out" achievement. Then you'll be able to tmog your glaives on your DH even though you don't have them on that toon.
That's one way... but I was adding input from the point of view of being able to 'mog old-skool Legendaries. Besides, as I said above; I'm in no hurry to want the Warglaive as a look for any of my characters, even my Demon Hunters.09/11/2018 19:16Posted by MastrappasIf you have both warglaives on your warrior, that means you have the "warglaives of azzinoth" feat of strenght achievement. The Warglaives are a unique example, on the back of the Demon Hunter Class being released/added.
They probably plan to add them in the future, Azzinoth's warglaives were clearly the introduction to that (as well as a test I might say).
