Dunno as tank if i am player healer brann is a breeze and no problems at all tbh.
I rather have an option without brann, and putting his skills into the action bars.
This plus the customer is always right leads to terrible things
I use healer Brann because that’s what ppl said was good for DPS, and I couldn’t be bothered trying to come up with something for myself - a strategy that would work for those who have
I think the intended design is go with whatever build you can come up with if you can make it work.
The list you have provided does well as a general list to stick by if you have delves on farm. Going healer as a tank for example while gearing might allow you to do a higher level of delve instead of when you’d have taken a DPS brann.
I havn’t tried the combination yet but I would argue that maybe Tank brann can go well with a DPS player, just kill things quickly
For me, tank player + dps brann works well if I’m geared for the content, but i’ll do healer when I’m pushing higher levels I’m not geared for.
tl;dr too situational to say brann roles have hard intentions on what spec the player should be to pair, delves also isn’t a solo only content
the full line goes “customer is always right in the matter of taste” and it was shortened to a wrong idea - customer isn’t always right - that would be stupid xD
Tbh heard the abbreviated one so often I forgot the original
Past year is a great example of how companies ignore consumers at their peril… How many flops does it take to ask ppl what they want…
One says I want harder stuff, the next says same stuff should be easier.
It’s not that easy is it?
TBH I would like to see delves have infinite scaling like in m+.
No need to increase the rewards and / or add some sort of leaderboard…Just make them more than busywork for the vault for those of us that can already comfortably clear 11s and would like an actual challenge. Otherwise it will simply get very boring sometime in the next 5 months when we´ve seen all the variants of each one.
It goes deeper than that… the ones taking the decisions drive companies down and lead developers to searching for new jobs, but they themselves exit with millions in their pockets. They don’t care if the company they were leading goes to smithereens as long as they got their compensation.
I can get behind that as long as I am absolutely 100% sure there will not be any sort of “exclusive” reward behind the higher-than-existing difficulties: No achievements, no mounts, no pets, no cosmetics, no QoL even like instant teleportations to Delve entrances like with M+.
From a theoretical perspective (how it should work) as I’ve only done a few Delves early on to check out the feature, it seems like you should be able to sacrifice speed for ease.
A Tank player with Healer Brann should should be easier than Tank Player with DPS Brann but it should also be slower.
Not every combination should be the same speed. Some should be a bit smoother but slower.
Swings and Roundabouts. You takes your pick of which you prefer, speed or smoothness.
Absolutely. Otherwise it just becomes another “Why Can´t I faceroll this? NERFPLZ!!” Point for the bads and potential boosting fodder.
I pick the role for brann that benefits me the most.
If my tank can heal enough and survive, why would I pick healer? I will pick dps.
Can my dps character survive on their own? For example havoc survives pretty long without needing outside healing. I’m still unsure whether I should use tank or healer. So far if i go with havoc, I usually go with tank. I wont even need healing most of the time since brann can hold them long enough for me to dps mobs down before he dies. The annoying part is that he will heal only when he has low hp. So I started picking healer so I dont need to deal with his hp. Not that his hp matters much, but I keep feeling like I want him to have full hp when I pull something big.
There is absolutely no need for “I’m on using this spec so brann must be that spec!”
Pick what is good.
No, not in any way, just a backhanded critique of the way the community in general has devolved over the past 20 years.
Simply because it seems, at least from where I´m sitting, that these days everyone, regardless of their skill or gear level, has to be able to accomplish everything that gives any sort of tangible reward within the first month of a patch, or it´s immediately deemed too hard and “has to” be nerfed.
